    Your ship makes a very small blast wave around to deal damage.
    Since the blast wave will be so small, using right on top of enemies will be most effective
    Perks can be applied to increase damage
    Maybe a crew member can pick up this weapon as a talent to increase blast radius damage
    The closer you are to the center of the blast the most damage you take like all mortars
    Cool down is 22 seconds
    Red item
    2 slot point item
    The reason it’ll dish out a lot of damage is because you have to kind of risk your life in order to use it, so it’s a high risk high reward weapon.
    Since it is like a mortar, if you and someone else are right next to each other but separated by a wall (say like the tunnel on the foundry), when you activate it, you will deal splash damage to that person. Like a torpedo shot would.
    When you are hit by this weapon, you will get shocked just like a caronade does to you. Meaning, you won’t move your turret as fast, and you also won’t be able to move fast.
    The amount of time you have this shock on you depends on how close you were to the center of impact.

    Common base damage - 230. Max damage - 675
    Uncommon base damage - 325. Max damage - 1250
    Rare base damage - 455. Max damage - 1670
    Epic base damage - 585. Max damage - 1915
    Legendary base damage - 815. Max damage - 2675

    I feel like a speeder would Tesla, go in blast wave the guy, then nitro away so maybe the max leg damage should be 3000 since it seems easy to use with speeder

    Yeh, it sounds like a grat speeder weapon. I also thought that maybe a defender could use it to make a full blown charge on a group.

    I love the idea, but make sure it doesn't do too much damage so much that it renders the carronade completely useless. It shouldn't do more than a big torpedo because even though you have to get in closer it's much easier to land a hit. Speeders will abuse this as the new ez big torp if it's too powerful. Tesla bolt, blast wave as you pass through them.

    To make it more useful, let's take the damage down a notch, but give it some utility like giving it a 4 second stun (shorter closer to the outside of the circle). We'll call it the Sonic Pulse, which hits them with a powerful soundwave that disorients their controls and deals some damage. To make it more gratifying, it should be its own kind of stun that isn't removed when they're shot at, just like the carronade slow.

    Yup. Pair it with the already existing carronade and you're well equipped to take out close range speeders.

    I like that you've given it a 2 weight as this would mean a straight up decision vs carronade - high weight / easy to use vs low weight / turret rotation risk

    A combo between carronade and this on a dual nitro and overboost speeder will make it one of the most annoying setups ever! Imagine slowing your enemy by 30% and then carronade hit for other 40% and slow them down 2x then nitroing away and coming back later to do the same!

    That's why it's brilliant! Having a rudder and 2 carronades so that your opponent can't even look at you is one thing, this would just create another way to mess with people lol. Is that not the speeder's job? Diversions and assassinations.
