What should be done with sniper? Poll

I agree speeder is hard ship to learn by personal exp.
I can also agree for tree spread...any thing further than that I disagree...
Still its not my call and certainly I don't know all, So i could be wrong. But by sniper exp. At my mk5 enforcer at ace 1 I say its not op. And I happens to be lowest hp ship there.

 

It's funny because when I was mk4 speeder with around 1.6k hp, slower speed than yours I never had any issues with Sniper Cannon.

Get hit by a crit? Hide and let it regenerate using Bandage.

Can't dodge the projectile? Why not change your nitro to Tesla Shield?

Why not address your problem in game, before asking the devs to nerf it.

You know the bottom line we anti-nerf player are saying is that, if we were able to adjust and overcome the Sniper cannon, why can't you?

You have access to the same ship, same items, same skill tree, the same game right?

Is it just refusal to make changes / adjustments or just basically lack of skills?

 

If you are talking about seal clubbers, it was worst when there was no penalty. So that's not a valid reason.

Wait, I can live with sniper as it is, now I’m more worried about explosive cannon, and I have the skill to dodge snipers, the problem is when the player has the skill to make sniper undodgeable

 

I run a speeder mk5. I'm in Ace 1 and get hit by 1500+ crits every time I'm out of cover with no bandage. Still I don't want a sniper nerf.

Do I use a sniper? Yes i do. Rare t4 which compared to epic t5 and legendary t2-3 with 45% crit chance is a pea shooter and I still don't want a nerf.

Why I use it? Not cos of crits but the range (crits are good too but don't make much difference when shooters have 8000+ hp or crazy defence points). And when you are running rares it's not a good idea to run against epics in close range. And yes I don't want a nerf.

 

Yeah! And imagine killing that 8k shooter with rare sniper without crit..400 per hit. You will die way before.

Though I appreciate you posting here, So some speeders like @ViscountSniffit and @A55A51N can see that and figure out what they lack that you have.

For me making a difference is supporting the player who is trying to take that 8000hp shooter down, with or without crits, cos I know I can't again with or without crits.

 

I read ur 100 shot stats, which you said yourself is not possible in one match....
I just don't care about what you say.

Hey bro. Tell you what, I was told by a really good player that rares are good. And that guy is a shooter as well, plays with rares at 4000+ and has an epic t5 carro (guess the name).

Skill and map awareness is important and damage is secondary. Yes damage will help you rise up fast, but it eventually comes down to skill no matter what load out you have.

Sorry I don't know what infamy you are at but I'm between 3200-3300 (trying to hold my own with rares) and my season top was 3600+ where I went up against nightmare players. I was 2 shot by them but it was fun to see players with great skills and players with all epic t5 loadouts trying to one shot me.

Play for fun or play to learn. Either way it's good.
