Not for me. The raffle really wants me to play Fixer instead of Enforcer.

 

Well since my inventory only has fixer stuff and very few weapons, it's much easier to get stuff I need as opposed to you.

 

No Kidding! WTF? Two epic parts, more power cells and double the gold for the same price? Sheesh. I was willing to spend $50 on the Ex Cannon, but now I'm not sure.

In typical RNG irony, I've received about 20+ rare blast cannons and NEVER received one epic blast. I have two lvl 50 rares, but I see how much more powerful the epics are.

100$ for that bullshit? You can buy two AAA games on consoles or pc with that money.

I got the same deal with Epic Explosive cannon. Seriously, I feel this is shady and unethical. Obviously the game knows what we need as it has our data. Question is, how do we know that the game is not manipulating our chances to get the very item we need via grinding?

 

The second screen shot is the 1 time offer that they offer everyone if you haven't bought anything. That's unrelated to the topic.

 

I'll have haters for this but why is everybody whining? It's not that we are forced to buy it right? There is always that ignore button when you see these "Great Deal" Offers being a bit absurd.

 

It's probably due to a few reasons why players are not happy with this. Here's what I can think of:
1. Overpriced.
2. The item that they are offering is the item that is exactly what you need and looking for. Nothing fishy there.
3. The idea that they could somehow change your chances in getting the item via grinding to force you to buy the item. Sounds far fetched but there are other games that were proven to manipulate RNG.

 

This is just buying "Time". You'll eventually get the items but who knows when. So if you're really that desperate and you have the $$$ for it, it's your call as they say.

The only offer that really got me was the holiday offer last december. That was 80 chests for the price of 14k pearls if i remember it right.

 

These offers are only directed at whales. For the rest of the more casual players here, what good does spending any money do to you? To get that new shiny epic? And then raise your infamy a little and get you paired up with whales? Can't you guys see there's no nett gain on your 'investment'? At the end of the day y'all gonna be forced back to 50% win rate no matter what you buy.

 

So Rovio looks at what epic items you have equipped on your ships that need a duplicate to evolve. And give you the chance to pay money to get the evolution NOW.
