Quick off topic question. Does flare gun break Tesla shield every time like fire bomb?

 

Answer to flare. The flare is the damage example 88 X time 17.2 = 1513.6 total damage. In this example. The tesla shield receives the entirety of the flare total damage. If the damage is higher than the shield h.p. the shield breaks.

If not. The shield holds.

Firebomb from my understanding works the same way on tesla shield.

 

Make it a 1 slot weapon

 

New Weapon idea for close range fighting.
Bumper Boat. Or since I came up with it. Call it JAWS Teeth.

1 slot weapon with more damage than an ex cannon and slightly under a mine. and have splash damage of 2 like an ex cannon. . It should max at 1800-2300 Epic tier V.
This weapon is always on. Never has to be fired. Like a floating mine. Which is your boat. Ie. If u bump into someone. It goes off. It also goes off touching a tesla shield.
This one weapon would turn the entire tide for shooters and defenders who have speeders charge thru their hull while being stunned and unable to shoot back. With this weapon if a speeder went thru a boat armed with this weapon. The speeder would lose their shield. And get hit for 1800 -2300 damage epic maxed.

The reason for such damage. Is that the weapon never is fired. Ie contact has to be made.

Also if using this weapon. Once it goes off. It takes 13 to 20 seconds to re arm. And get back to being ready for offensive defensive bumper boating.

Imagine all the tactics that will change in the bay if people were armed with this.

It bring an element of risk going thru a boat now.

Thus could be the new fixer. weapon of choice instead of mine. Or for those that prefer close fighting this could make enemy boats who bunch pay badly.

Big points. More powerful than ex cannon. Less powerful than mine.
Splash damage. Aoe weapon. Always on.
And once used recharges.

Your missing the its always on element. And knocks out tesla shield. Lol. Happy hunting

 

Speeder going through you with shield on still triggers mine, speeder going through you with shield still gives you a chance to hit them. Mines can stack and create a minefield, this item cant

 

I feel like a better solution would be to just enable ship collisions. Heavier boats like shooter would take less damage from collisions vs a speeder, so the speeder would ultimately damage themselves. Plus, we have to consider how broken that item would be if the speeder used it offensively. Slap on a nitro and you're set.

They should add joke weapons if they ever make an April fool's update.
For example:
A rubber torpedo that only does 1hp of damage (ignores defense). And it doesn't have splash damage. Therefore, it'll be a laugh fest when you take someone out with it!

 

A Water gun that does -10 damage since it cleans the boat you shoot

 

A paintball grenade!

 

They should make a water gun that puts out fires from your teammates but doesn't work on yourself.
