Enforcer help

Hello Battle Bay friends!

Sorry to bother you, but I need some help. I'm currently sitting at 3000 infamy in my MK5 Enforcer. My season top is 3480 infamy.
Here is my build:


My problem is, that I seem not to be able to move in the ladders higher. However I try. It's always streaks of wins and losses (this screenshot was taken after a losing streak thus low infamy).
I consider this build good enough to be able to move up. But I just can't seem to be able to do it. I usually end up being the 1st or 2nd top damage dealer in our team, not depending on the result of the match. But I know damage isn't everything in this game, and I'm still quite new to playing Enforcer and I really enjoy it, that's why I'd like to ask you for help.
I seem to be missing some crucial Enforcer tactics or something to be able to perform better at battles.

Ergo if you have experience with this ship or this build I'd really appreciate if you'd look at the replays below, maybe you'll find something I'm doing wrong.
If you have any suggestions to my current build, I'm curious to discuss about that also.

Edit: changed first replay link, because it showed me playing underpowered flare instead of grenade to finish the quest.

 

I don’t see any problem in your setup, I personally play enforcer and I’m at 3500 infamy, season top 3880 and my combo is dual tier IV rare blasts and a flare, you could try to play more carefully or you just have bad luck because I have less firepower and hp and captain level tan you and I’m higher. But don’t worry about infamy, you’ll find a day where you get up and stay there because people have op weapons anyway, it doesn’t matter between 3k or 3,7 k the only thing that changes is that with 3,8 you can be matched up against or with top players like YSL or Orpheus!

 

Thank you. Are you playing with a bandage or standard shield?
I tried bandage but that leaves me with 3300 hp and that's like two hits.. that's very hard to survive.

 

Tier IV rare bandage! I love it! It leaves me with 3450 hp but it's amazing to dance a bit, tank a hit and then run to the cover to heal up! Until I have mk6 I'll never use standard shield because I don't have one, therefore I have a tier 4 rare big shield, that is what I use in my speeder and it will leave my enfo with almost 6k up at mk6!

 

My all-time top infamy is 3.8k with my MK5 Enfo. Somehow I dropped 400 inf points as soon as I upgraded to MK6 . I'm currently stuck between 3.4 and 3.6k infamy, altough I can have some really good battles.


As you can see, my setup is very similar to yours. I have some ideas about your setup based on my experience.

1. I'm pretty sure I couldn't get over 3.2k infamy before getting my Epic T3 Tesla Shield (1066hp). With a rare T3 you will get stunned almost with every non-standard cannon shot. I'd recommend you train Dr. Buzzkill as soon as possible and do anything to get an strong Tesla Shield (Rare lvl 50 and Epic lvl 30 do the same).
2. I've been tempted to try double BC + Grenade as well (i'm currently building a second BC). However i'm not sure this setup is as reliable as 2 BCs + Flare Gun. It's all about playstyle, but if you feel your setup is not working, you could try other weapons. IMO the pair Grenade+BC works great, so you could try another third weapon (I've seen Carronade and Mine working great), or switch Grenade for Flare Gun. I gained about 400 infamy points as I switched Standard Cannon for Carronade...
3. Most important of all. Don't upgrade to MK6 before upgrading all (or most) of your items to T5. Matchmaking does get harder, and the six active items are not so easy to handle, so it's better to stick with your MK5 until you're sure your items will do it better with MK6 as with MK5. I'm sure I'd be on Nightmare league if I hadn't upgraded my boat.

I`m with FirnenAhead, too... He´s right in every single mentioned point, especially the one with upgrading to MK6! I have to struggle the same problems and lost about 500 (3800 to 3300) infamy because of not having my tesla shield better than T3 epic and only T4 blast cannons. The matchmaking gets really harder and having to handle 6 buttons is extremly difficult. Sometimes i end up with just using my overboost and tesla shield like i did for month with MK5.
Altough i like using my carronade (so sad it`s only T3 epic), I end up with doing best with my flare, blast, blast combo.

 

Thank you for sharing your experience, I'll definitely consider all the points you mentioned. I think I'll switch one blast for something else (I'm about to get a legendary weapon soon so hopefully it's gonna be a 1-slotpoint weapon),

About your replays, I noticed that you're way more patient than I am. Also, I really like your combo, especially the carronade. I was really shocked how easily was it for you to destroy an enemy just by yourself in a short time. Never considered carronade good weapon foe Enforcer, and you proved me wrong .

Literally 3 battles in a row. I still have no idea what am I doing wrong, why can't I move up with the infamy.

 

Look at your teams... they are the wrong thing

I play with enforcer, i use two snipers and one mine. You need to use the best of every weapon you use, like precision and time to reload.
