Don’t Shoot At Me!

By busy you mean launching an endless stream of torpedoes and mortars at invisible targets usually out of range, sure... I guess you can call it busy work.

 

If I’m not moving, or indicating that I’m alive when the battle starts, I can see getting a shot in the ass just to make sure I’m there. But if I”m obviously in the game, there is no reason for it, especially getting hit several times by a team mate. I will make life difficult for people who do such things.

Glad I'm not the only one that loses motivation when that happens. Sometimes I'll just fall back and let the shooter go out in battle alone.
I one had a player, no shit, shoot me the entire match! Never fired at the unfriends. Just followed, and shot me. The whole match! I reported them.

 

I like to try shooting myself, i even try catching the ricochet off of rock faces, bridges & trees. Hee Hee

I shoot torpedoes at my teammates if there's an enemy in their faces. And all that glorious splash damage goes to the enemies. It's a dirty trick, but useful.

 

When I used to play torps, I shot torpedos in the directions people traverse in the beginning of the game. It's all guesswork but sometimes I got lucky as well.
As far as shooting team-mates is concerned I do that when someone is trying to ruin the game by playing a low tier ship in a high infamy game. I play a mk6 speeder at around 3600-3900 infamy range and when I see someone in my team with a mk3 or Mk4 ship it pisses me because it's for sure they are infamy dropping and most of the time they suicide in the first 30 secs without helping the team in any kind of way. So that's that. Hope no one gets offended by it.

 

Not offended by it. My experience is lower infamy so I'm sure there are substantial differences. But I can tell you that I'm frequently low boat in a match and someone shooting me in the back is almost going to guarantee that I pull a Leroy Jenkins. For me, at least, your strategy is self-fulfilling.

 

I on the other hand will turn around and try shooting that shooter down even though he has 5 more weapons than me. I usually succeed but then I am picked off by a team mate. Maybe tat is what is holding me back- my ego that I can hit 770 damage every 5.6 seconds lol

 

Not only do I playfully shoot my own teammates, but I also try to hide my speeder inside of a friendly defender/shooter at the beginning of a battle...and I do the rapid fire switching of weapons at the beginning of a battle...and I do donuts in my speeder...and I try to play the game backwards...and I try to hide my speeder inside the waterfall in wayward pains...and I rotate my cam around my ship incredibly fast when I win a game...and I try to hide inside friendly tesla shields...

Oh Ya, and I win games too

 

Love that, that's the point of the game, to have fun. If I play speeder I'll do all that stuff too, but I only play shooter and I have five frigging weapons in my arsenal, so I shoot anything that moves.
Sometimes I shoot waterfall with my explosive cannon to see if it puts my fiery explosive projectile off, needles to say it never worked.

 

How can a Mk3 or Mk4 be infamy dropping if your a Mk6 within 3600-3900 infamy ? Just doesn't add up.

 

Ooooh, I think I figured it out. He's referring to fleeting which is about the only way a M3 is going to be in that zone. The guy who's trying to lose infamy is the higher level fleet partner.

 

I like to upset players when i'm listed ready for battle with only 1 weapon load out on my ship.... Something useless like a Tier 1 level 1 grenade or an epic can of useless fart gas. Lmao

 

Fart Gas really isn’t effective until it becomes Epic. It’s more for high infamy players.

 

It is an Epic & very effective, but i need a Legendary item to be Catastrophic !

 

I've been on a crappy run in my mk6 shooter with around 1000 infamy & tonight I changed to my mk4 enforcer & winning all my matches. On my other account with a mk 2 shooter lvl 13 with around 800 infamy plus & rising, but my stats are high with 1.2 kills per match & only 280 matches played, but wondering how other players have more infamy with worse stats than me ?

 

Something about the math, I had a high kill rate when I first started too. The more battles you play, the more it drops. Have you played fixer with that account yet?

 

Neither of them, maybe once but didn't like it & the only way kills will drop is if you don't kill anyone, but if i keep it up with 1 or 2 kills per battle, i should be ok but still why are some players infamy higher with worse stats ? I've noticed i get more epic items on my smaller level account & can keep up with the ships at my level & mk4 ships i'm up against, but still think it's unfair to battle bigger ships with more powerful weapons as i lose matches this way.
