    My guildmate obviously did more damage and more healing (by a lot) and still got fewer stars. This isn't the first time.

    He must've provided a lot of damage assists, considering nearly every weapon on your team has increased burner damage.

    When I was mk4 I always fleeted with a guy that is in nightmare right now, ANILRJ, he used a frost launcher, sniper canon and firebomb in speeder and he always got all the stars, I did 8k damage (a lot for those days) and he got 3 stars doing 5k while I got 2 soo, I think it's overestimated.

    Assuming this was quite a long while ago, they nerfed firebomb contribution in one of the more recent updates.

    Disagree. There absolutely should be a star boost for helping your teammates get increased damage... fire and frost. Also for stunning opponents and for blocking shots with tesla shield. All of these contribute in some way. Even a speeder dodging shots contributes, but that is not accounted for (it should be).

    It can’t be worth very much. I know that I’ve had games (at least a few), where me getting behind the unfriends and drawing thier fire, has complete decimated thier team. Yet in all my games (thousands), I don’t think I’ve had a single one where I’ve finished above someone with more damage, without running fire/frost.

    Damage wasted is as good as damage repaired. It should be worth more.

    I haven't gotten 3 that way but I've gotten 2 with like 300- damage from spending a whole match causing diversions (we won by capture) sadly I have no screenshot proving this, though.

    And again, I make more damage, more fixing in result Just 1 star. Fixer with Firefox bomb got 2 stars.

    Fire is drastically overvalued still. It does however mean that I can load up my defender with Flare+Firebomb+Napalm for some easy star farming :’
