Item Reroll Option

For rare, epic and leg items can we have an option that allows us to convert one of our current items into another item of the same color randomly.
For example:

I have leg cannon. I want another red leg instead.
I can spend 5 leg pieces that I collected to reroll the current leg I own or I can save up another 5 for another leg.

Same applies for rare and epic items.

What do y'all think?

More chances for duplicate=easier to evolve= easier to progress= less chance of spending= devs get less money= nevarrrrrrrrrr

 

5 pieces is a big price to pay for a reroll. Reroll also removes all upgrades from the item and reverts the new item to lv 1. If you wait for 10 pieces at least you get to scrap it. 5 pieces is just a reroll

If I own a epic red item, i have to save up 10 epic red piece to combine to get a new item or duplicate. Reroll is a new option I suggest. For the price of 5 item piece you can change one of the epic item u own into another random one of that color.

I think the item being reverted back to level 1 would be too much considering the value of the investment and that (presumably) there would be no guarantee of what you'd get still.

I'd scale the requirements based on the level of the item and use power cells since they are a requirement to evolve in the first place. I.e. a level 1 item would be 1 piece, 100 parts and 5 cells. A level 2 2x, level 3 3x etc.

 

But what happens if i reroll my carronade and get a napalm??? 15 legendary pieces wasted and as f2p it is a big cost.

 

Something similar I would love to see it to be able to change the colour of the piece, make it cost XX perls or a huge amount of gold.
That way everyone has the option of either spending in game currency or real money. Even make the "training" time long, say a week? and you can only do one piece at a time, that way people aren't spamming out items they want

 

That's what makes the price fair. If you re-roll a second time, you have 2x more of a chance of getting the item you want compared to collecting 10 more and combining, but you also have 1 less item because you kept on re-rolling.

A good napalm speeder is an awesome thing to see. You use the napalm with your blast cannon(which should carry fire perks) and with a frost launcher or blaster. You freeze a target(s) and launch your napalm on to the the target(s), which doesn't brake the frost and then you shoot a target that is inside the napalm for fire damage. The damage is huge from the napalm(frozen/burning defenders is the best thing you can get), it can also be used for area control, and it gives you contribution points. I used napalm on my speeder for a long time, so you can trust my opinion(i guess).


Anyways, this is an awesome idea with a good price.
