    Majority of fixer are defending fixer;
    But some do stray away from the stereotype and became one with the duct force.

    FIXER TYPE

    I am suggesting that all duct force fixer to follow these rules (may change later):
    >Immediately press the following chat command to reveal your fixer type:

    This is actually a great idea, but shame it wont reach enough eyeballs to make it happen.
    I tend to pulse at the start and then fire a bolt at a friendly to show im equipped to heal the team instead of self heal but fixer isnt my main :)

    I've noticed other guys doing this and I generally class them as a friendly fixer. So your communication works for me anyway.

    I think spamming anything at the beginning of the battle is pointless. It'll just be caught up in the other 2 bazillion exhortations to attack together just before everyone jets off to their own private corner of the map.

    Generally I classify the people spamming negative in the start as useless annoyances, so I suppose it kinda works as intended ;)

    Is this really an issue though? At least its not around nightmare infamy, but I guess there is a smaller playerpool to keep track of than at lower levels. Knowing who usually runs what setup is a large part of doing well in this game (unless you spend $ in the thousands obviously). At nightmare level this is limited to knowing that Miku runs either triple bolt or alot of tape. Trying to guess what Diet Coke runs is pointless, that guy is always mixing it up and I hardly ever see him as Fixer anyway.

    Why? Surely this confuses your team mates, and any team instructions your team are trying to give. Which in turn would lead to a disorganised team more likely to lose.

    Surely any little advantage is worth having. You could end up losing because someone plays too adventurous as they think they’ll get fixed.

    Heh, I class anyone who spams anything other than a specific command at the start of the match to be a noobie. Ditto with randomly shooting me and the air. Basically, this behavior is exactly like cowboys in an old western yelling "Yeehaw!" and shooting their pistols into the ceiling of the bar. I know they are not there for serious combat*.

    *exception for healing boxes/pulses/bolts, mines, and napalm since those are informative to the team.

    FIXER ACTION
    Duct force fixer tends to go to base as soon as the battle start. This is a diversion tactic.

    Its advisable not to follow the fixer because the enemies will start to spam the duct fixer. The duct fixer will reheal and readjust its position on the base.

    Once the enemy appear on the screen, please relocate and spam the enemies. The enemies will be bussy trying to eradicate the duct fixer.

    The thing you probably don't know Sewah is that down here in the land of flotsam and jetsam (sub 1000 infamy with our new system) every single battle starts out with a raucous series of emotes that I think are some sort of inarticulate battle cry. So emotes at the top of the battle are getting panned here. I notice that behavior trails off as you get above 900 infamy and it was almost non-existent above 1200.

    I think the idea of decoding is great but most players are already used to demonstrations of napalm, mines, and the like. The fixer doing a demo fits right in... or it did for me. I only needed someone to do it in two or three battles before I realized, "Hey, that means they have fixer gear!" (man I'm a genius, right?)

    Good idea but kinda only leaves room for 3 types of fixer.

    If you have a box / bolt you are a team fixer, green.
    If you have duct, duct, pulse, you are a selfish fixer, yellow.
    If you have duct, duct, duct, you are ultimate selfish, red

    Hope that helps :)

    A defensive fixer is usually very adamant on their team's togetherness. If they aren't yelling at the team to stay together at least once, assume selfish until you see them use healing items.

    I don't know about other people but this issue seems to have sorted itself out. Non-selfish fixers spam their fixing abilities at the opening of the match. Selfish fixers tend to lead the charge. I think I've only been surprised once in the last several weeks and even then I figured it out pretty quickly when I glanced over at the fixer who was churning out +38, +45, +27.... numbers above their boat.

    It's seem majority of player don't read this post.

    Again I would like to emphasize;

    Don't follow a selfish fixer when it's charging to base.

    You will be dead in seconds.
