Epic Flare Gun

    Is it good? I dont think it does a lot of damage tbh, so I might scrap it.

    Multiply the DPS by the Duration to get total damage. 18 * 12 = 216 total damage. That's with no upgrades though, so it will eventually do much more.

    It's evil that thing. Crazy good at high levels. Slows healing, increases cannon damage.
    All of the top players use them, with good reason.
    I'd hang on to it.

    Increases cannon damage? It makes other people that shoot the flaming ship with cannons do more damage? Really?

    You need perks for the effects I mentioned there. Check out burnice and bhurt training perks. There are also fire perks that you can fit onto cannons.

    Neither is better. It depends if you want to be fast or have more guns. Top players prefer speeder but that's because they like speed

    Most top players use both of them, enforcer and fixer too.

    does flare gun damage stack? as in, once i have hit target A with flare gun, then i shouldn't shoot target A again (until after it wears off)? Or does the damage over time stack?

    that changes how you would play.

    Hold your horses, I thought it was bad at first too, but in the big leagues this weapon is cake. Here's an example, my EC hits around 1300-1500, but against someone whom is on fire it does 2000-2300 damage. (It might hit higher than that idk) Anyways keep this weapon it will be very useful later on.

    That spreads to the AoE, too, right? That's pretty crazy. o_O
    There aren't any typical loadouts, really, what you're using now is perfectly fine. Landing your shots is more important than bringing a specific loadout. Here's a couple of general suggestions, though.

    Standard Cannons are more popular in low-rank due to the DPS, sometimes even double-Cannon. They tend to fall out of favor later, but there's a lot of high-level guys rolling with Rare and Epic Cannons. Just see what you do the most damage with and level it. For the Speeder, you might gravitate to the low-cooldown Cannon or Carronade, but don't be afraid to try a Grenade or even a Torpedo.

    Both classes also tend to level a Turbo, but Bandages are equally common. I used to use a Small Shield to bump my HP a bit. Speeders tend to take an Overboost and a Nitro. You could even go double-Nitro for extra mortar-dodging, double-Overboost for permanent speed, or even switch one out for a Tesla Bolt. Play around with your options, you will eventually figure out what makes you more effective.
