Why must item rarity be a progress limiter?

iam f2p and i have lvl30 epic + lvl1 epic ex cannon i dont have the talent to evolve it but it only deal 696 damage
i wont use it till i get bhurt to lvl 23 ,24,25 bcuz mine is at low lvl to be usefull

you know how much legendary and t5 epic and rare and mk6 and even mk7 are dont at ~2k infamy 696 wont help alot ,what make me dont use it is bcuz lvl 30 epic ex cannon should deal between 900-1000 damage, i have no problemon landin shots i have hitted alot of speederon the other side of the map with ex cannon

And just now i combined another epic ex cannon just one more and i can have t5 epic

 

yes it is 696 with perks
i want to use flare and ex cannon combo
but till i get a good flare gun
if you take a look at bhurt talent tree you will see that after unlocking t4 talent you can unlock 30% more damage just for ex cannon
till i get all needed i will stay with my current setup
speeder t4 rare big torp and lvl 10 epic mine without frost till i get an epic frost blaster

 

Which, for me, is kind of neat since the loot gods have seen fit to give me 3 epic EC's and 3 epic flares. Those are the only two epics I've gotten dupes on.

 

Dont worry, i have an epic tier II flare (40 dmg for 17 secs) and a rare tier IV blast cannon (695 dmg, 900 with fire ) and I am on ace 3k infamy right now, so if you play well and wait until you climb you'll see that it's good enough, remember that a tier III epic is like a tier IV rare but with one more perk slot and shirt talents also help a lot so it's not bad if you use it well

 

This game is about playing what you get and figuring out how to make it work until you get some of the weapons you really want. I personally loved my sniper rifle st low levels but only got uncommons and never epics or rare. I did get 3 epic big torpedos so what did I do I became a speeder torpedo player. I kept playing since last may and it wasn’t until December that I got my first rare sniper rifle. This past week I just got my 3rd and 4th sniper rifle so now I am working on leveling it up to use. By focusing on weapons I got and realizing over time I will get the weapons I want I could have success. I also have a level 30 epic carronade that does 7X101 damage. It might be hard to hit but 700 damage with a 5.6 second cool down can be nasty . (And yea I only use it for quests)
