DAILY DEAL Price Stuck on Most Expensive Past Purchase

Confirmed I spent $20 once and all my deals were always $29. As soon as I spent $100 they have only been $100

Yes it's confirmed, the daily deal in the offers tab will always remain the same as the most expensive purchase made in the past.

I don’t get why they don’t offer all the different prices of the daily deals to everyone. People might be inclined to spend more often

I was just recently (like 3 days ago) offered a deal of 29 € and I have definitely made purchases higher than that in the past. So I strongly believe the offers are just random and those who reported this issue have just been out of luck. After all, these new offers haven't even been around for very long yet, so maybe you guys need to give them more time to see the real variety.

 

You missed one very important keyword. We are only talking about "Daily Deal" not about the new offers such as EVO it now, power leveling, item bundles,etc. I put it in the thread title after all... Maybe I should make it Caps lol

So far it is confirmed 100%, daily deals will only be offered at the price of the most expensive pearl package purchased in the past. This year's "holiday deal" followed that rule. Cannot confirm for other offers yet.

 

Oh sorry, my bad. I haven't really even paid attention to these daily deals since they mostly seem to be garbage with very limited extra value. But yeah, daily deals may be like that but now that we got these new special offers (with much more variety and higher extra value) I don't think that's a big problem anymore. Still understand your pain, hope devs would bother to leave a comment here.

That would be great but I have never gotten a special offer except the Christmas one.

 

I assume you're not referring to the new special offers tab introduced with the last update... maybe an offer that pops up separately? It's already confusing enough to have offers in so many places. I agree with everyone else, it's terribly short sighted to assume someone only wants to buy offers at the highest price point they've ever spent. Rovio would do a lot better with consistent cheaper offers rather than big ones.

 

This post is being completely ignored, I get it if devs cannot provide an official statement as of yet, but not even a single word from mods either?

The longer they ignore us, the better their explanation must be. I hope we don't plain out catch them red handed in their $$$ scheme.
