Blast Cannon vs Carronade (buffed)

    Wondering if anyone have tested properly (I don´t have a decent one) a carronade now that it was buffed, and how does it compare with a blast cannon?

    I use both on my speeder, both lvl 30. And BC is better 90% of the time

    BC is more powerful and easier to hit with. Carros can trigger 2 important debuffs and have a much shorter cooldown. Both weapons are great with a good crew training. it all depends on your playstyle.

    I got into a fight against a speeder running double carro and one of them was an epic t4. Turns out blasty is still a trusty weapon against a carro speeder. Dude had a bandage, but I cleankilled him. I just memorize the minrange, which is pretty close to a bigtorp, and fire from outside that range.

    Overall, carros are superb in the right hands, but if someone compares a noob carro user with the right training with a noob blasty user with the right training, there's a high chance that the carro user will win.

    I play Enforcer and even with the recent speed buffs, I'm not sure I can keep up all the time with other ships so that using a carronade would be viable or better than using a classic flare + blast + blast. Currently using flare + blast + mine, but sometimes I feel like the mine is too situational while using double blast would be the safest way to go, yet a very good combo.

    My guild had carronade quest on easy board and no one played carronade. So I bought a rare carronade and used it on my fixer. Then I was left 1 on 1 with a defender and Defender had 300hp whereas mine was 3000. I thought that was a easy win and went head on. While firing, I noticed each projectile did exactly 1 damage. I got more closer and result was same. Again at point blank, same. Turns out i did only 5 damage on each hit. Defender probably had more shield points than my carronade's damage. That moment I made a vow to use carronade only if I get 4 epics or 1 legendary one. BC is my jam for now and I have gotten used to it so much that I can't lead shots with sniper anymore. Point is: my exam just ended and I have way too much time on my hand right now.:D:D:)

    Carro speeder vs any other speeder will suffer a dead end,unless you are in custom and you know what the player is using

    Caro has a 3 huge problems: range, skill tree build, defence...
    bc can be burtsted by fire...
    moreover just look at the statistic ...

    Ye I currently prefer Blast cannon, it's what I use, but just wanted to read carronade user's feedback. I do realized that as an Enforcer sometimes I can´t get AS close as a Speeder, therefor carronade wouldn't be the best option, maybe not a bad one, but the best.

    I use epic Carronade on my mk5 shooter as my anti speeder wep, just got tired of them running right up on me without fear :eek: hit em with the carro then a lvl 35 rare explosive cannon and they leave quick :D
