Fire bomb is not levelling up

    I have been recently using rare fire bomb which have a total of 56 damage and I haven't activated most of its talent until now. I have currently level it up to 12 level but its damage is only 23 per second i think it should have 25 per second and I haven't unlocked any of the related talent in between. When I level up from 7-9 the damage didn't increase at all.Is there any fix of this?

    for flare gun and fire bomb there are sometimes no increase in damage as the increase is so small it doesnt even count as plus 1 damage as plus 1 means actually a lot more damage due to the firebomb causing damage over time

    Can someone give me the math on fire damage,
    for example if I have a firebomb that is 40 dmg and a 20 sec duration how much damage does a direct hit do? Is it just 40 x 20 or am I missing something

    It's a straight 40x20, but it'll seem to do more since at t=0, it does a token damage which is rounded off for the next few ticks.

    but my friend has same rare fire bomb which is of level 11 but it has 24 damage. How did this happen?

    It's probably a minor training, or a "damage to all weapons" perk.

    Look at the calculations
    Do calculations on your phone
    Tell us if the number is different.
