Ads between battles - too long

    Ads that are 2 1/2 mins between battles. That sux and you are literally trying to get players to stop playing....

    Most / all my ads are under 30, but one time I got a 2 minute garden supplies ad

    Oh, that's probably a bug, I Guedes, here in Brazil the only ad we can't close is the one of the store refreshment. If there's someone of the crew online, tag them, maybe he could clarify or work on the problem:D

    Edit: Guedes = guess. I was almost sleeping and didn't notice my mobile language was in portuguese :p

    Okay Rovio now you're getting my WTF four battles in a row you give me a dumb ad that lasts 135 seconds!!

    after battles, You are given a chosce to watch an add to double your rewards. Don't watch the add.

    Gotcha but no bonus if skipping the ad. Also aren’t ads what helps pay for the game? I don’t mind ads at all but no in game ad should be over two mins long. Especially a game when you “fleet up” so your mate basically get screwed too.

    Rovio do not control the ads directly, this is handled by a 3rd party company and the ads vary depending on your location etc.
    As mentioned the ads are optional depending on if you want the extra loot after games played.

    If you want the extra loot but don't want to watch the ads, then you will need a VIP subscription.

    If you feel so stongly about adds... Don't press the button to watch them! Only do it sometimes, like every other battle.

    Umm yeah I got that all I’m venting about is why in the hell are their ads that are 135 seconds long. Idc who handles them that is way too long when sometimes a battle isn’t even that long.

    The title says "WTH Rovio" so I just wanted to clarify that it wasnt Rovio giving you the really long, optional ads.

    Ads may be optional, but if some of Rovio's ads are 2x longer than others, if users aren't getting extra credit for those, then I agree it is an issue.

    Have you tried using this technique:randomly press the top right/left corner and somehow hit an "invisible X"

    I play using my phone data. I was watching ads too, to claim extra rewards. And then I realized, it ate up all my data quota. In the end, it is getting more expensive than paying for the vip subscription.
