Speeder help

I’m currently a mk4 speeder and I am stuck on how to go up the ranks. I would really appreciate it if someone could recommend a way of doing this and the build I should use,

 

You’ll probably want to ditch the cannon for something with a bit more power. If you like using Flare, then I would suggest Blast Cannon or Exploding Cannon, and put fire perks on them.

There isn’t anything on your build that benafits from frost, and frost is pretty weak at the moment. Change your frost blaster for either Nitro, or Tesla Bolt.

Rudder is fun, but a shield will take you further, a decent small shield could add another 700 hp, easy. Keep working on your big shield too, you’ll need it at mk5.

Yeah, I love running the rudder! You feel like such a badass: dodging shots left and right... then you get hit and remember why you need a shield

Mk4 is actually quite nimble without it. I really miss the agility on mk5 though. Hold onto it anyway, at mk6 you might be able to sneak it back on...

I’ve been keeping an eye out for bandage for a while now. Are they really worth it, and how do they work.

bandage helps but i use shield for hp as i contetst shooter not other speeders

 

So it’s shield for shooters bandage for speeders.

 

I think it depends on your playstyle. Bandage will take a long time to heal up the same amount as a shield. Unless you have a really good one, probably over a minute, which could be 1/3rd of the game.

If you’re running something like mines or sniper, then you might get more value out of a bandage, but if you’re planning on getting in people’s face with a Blast Cannon then you probably want to run a shield instead.

Personally, I never had any joy with bandage.

 

so as an mk4 i hve an epic bandage healing 40 life per second or my standard shield giving me 750, i use the shield

not actually what i said, i need shield as to beat these 5k shooters u need as much hp as possible as u probably will die in the attempt. But if u seek out fixers or other speeders use bandage as u can afterwards heal back as u probably wont die as fixers are hopeless at killing u and enemy speeders generally have low life ( keep in mind that u do as well.)
A shield is better than bandage as against enemies doing 1000 damage per shot, the 700 can keep u alive for longer.
