Farming Lower Leagues

Has anyone experienced (or god forbid tried) intentionally dropping infamy to farm lower leagues and get easy wins? I get that there are better rewards for being in higher leagues, but I'm wondering if there are those that have thought about dropping to get easy gold and rewards with the least amount of effort.

I play Clash Royale and that was a big thing for a while until it was fixed to where it is much harder to get easy matchups even when dropping.

Don't hate me and I'm not trying to start a horrible trend in this game... just wondering.

Yes this has been done. Buts it's also a punishable offenses mods are currently banning people who intentionally drop infamy I belive.
As to the rewards I feel it's foolish to drop because this is a game and should be fun so play against people that it puts you with see where you land and have fun!

 

From my experience as you progress into the game with upgrades on gears and skills your infamy will be in a certain range.
As the game system is rigged to a 50% win ratio, once you hit your range ceiling, you will be matching up with tougher player to bring your infamy down.
Dropping infamy intentionally might give you some easy win but once you hit the ceiling the cycle repeats again. IMO it is a waste of time.
Target to improve 1 league tier at a time to improve your league bonus, collect all freebies daily and your infamy will rise down the road. Just be patient.
If not there is always a choice to join the wallet warriors to rush your progress.

Like he said, i also play clash royale and if we go to lower trophies, we will match with harder enemies than we expected. My highest trophies in clash royale is 3999 but my friend makes my account to 2300 -_- i thought it would be easy to get back to my highest trophy but now im stuck at 2700 trophies because the enemies are hard. Idk how about this game, but some of my friends sometimes they want to get down. Idk the reason. maybe the reason is we will get easier win like mentioned before perhaps......

 

This guy basically dropped to ZERO from 2700 and boasted about it openly in VIP chat... He was also posted about on the FB page, to which he lied to the OP about connection issues. When I called him out, he brushed it off as his god given right to do it... Hopefully the Devs do something about him. Over 100 afk matches in a row is NOT ok...

I don't understand these people's motivation? I mean this is a game there is no reward (Real reward i.e. Money) and it's for fun. So why would you want to play against people lower than you? The challenge is what makes the game fun! I prefer to play people better then me.
I'm not judging them and I do understand wanting to win but isn't a win if it's against people not your skill level?
That's my thoughts on that lol

 

I don't know, but maybe I could point out some motivations (as a old-school player)
*These are just my guesses, I don't feel this way.
- Tired of higher leagues and losing
- Bored about fighting the same players everyday
- Would like to get 1st in another league
- Hatred of noobs (well... That's a bit extreme...)

 

Apparently it's too much of a grind for him at the higher ranks. He wants an easy farm, and then get abusive in chat when questioned on it. The personal attacks don't bother me, but this will really affect those entry level players if they get completely wiped out by a level 27 player with legendary items, and 3k matches under his belt...

 

He wasn't afk he just ran right into the middle of the enemy team and Let them shoot him I know because I played against him twice.

 

its getting ridiculous how many people purposely lose infamy to get games in the lower rank. I was just in a game where I was hit with 900 damage for being in a game with 300 or less infamy. Yesterday I was hit with 1000 damage in 1 hit.

 

OHH IS that what they do? That pisses me of to no end, I have seen people do that. Screw that. I am working hard as a fixer to get the team healed and together, but these arses are ruining the game for everyone doing that. It is funny too because people say once you reach 1k infamy they are smarter than that but i guess not smh.
