Attention: f2p between 3500-3999 infamy

Attention f2p players about to reach nightmare, DON'T! It is not worth the 1 legendary piece or "extra" battle rewards. First, I was one of the first fixers (mk5) to use triple bolts (two t4 rare, one t4 uncommon) and I climbed very quickly (and yes I hold my weight against whales). Eventually I reached nightmare and realized a few things

1. Battles are straight up, who spends more. Rarely I'll see another f2p player, and surprise, it doesn't matter we do

2. Whales are straight up mean. Someone added me to trash me because I couldn't defeat a super whale with t3 legendaries (we tied and it was straight up $5 vs $thousands)

3. Once you fall below 4k (bc your weapons can' keep up), matchmaking keeps feeding you loses to please whales. I've gone to 3.6k and matched with 5.2k , once your registered as nightmare, you're matchmaking is SCREWED

4. Mk7 does NOT equal two mk6. Higher mk means better weapons, more captain training, and more money spent. Ive had battles were one mk7 does 40+k and takes out my whole team (next top was 15k)

Should I even mention whale tankers

From one f2p player to another, save yourself misery and stay below 4k!

 

Bonus if you stay in lower league:Easier to get top prize of that league #top 10 prize in a league over top 100 prize in the league one league above

The funnest this game ever was in the 2k-3k infamy. Not many whales/tankers, and simple mistakes would determine the game, not an algorithm

 

Why not. I'm f2p as well. It trains your skills to survive and support your teammates against stronger opponents. As a fixer who's currently in nightmare(1st time) the gameplay is so different than when you are hovering between 2.8 to 3.4. You're up against opponents with tier 5 equipments(rarely tier 4 anymore). It requires better decision making, better teamwork, better positioning to support other teammates.

 

Idk man I'm f2p and been in nightmare a couple seasons now and I'm enjoying it even tho I'm usually underpowered.

 

Just play the game casually. No need to rush.
U don't have to be paranoid against loosing by those whales. Just enjoy. U win some u loose some.

 

Why you lying, ESPECIALLY if you're a fixer in nightmare, I've been flared/xlosive cannon at least half of the times I've died. I'm just saying I'd rather much have never reached nightmare bc back then at least half my games didn't have all these whales

 

I WISH I COULD, my set infamy with like 50% wins would be 3.7k, but I've been so close to reaching an infamy where my rewards are penalized. Plus reaching nightmare sometimes is just based on matchmaking and luck

 

Lying about? Yeah its a tough league and tough match up but its good for improving your gameplay no? lol of course if you are a underpowered fixer for nightmare league they'll come for you first its instinct to target the weakest link. its how you stick to your teammates like what i mentioned better decision making, better teamwork and better positioning?

 

F2p, 5 season or more in nightmare, get lege piece and 30 epic and lege parts every 2 weeks. I want to get my lege so imo it’s worth it

 

Same story for me ... but blast+ex with 3.6k hp it’s death for sure. It’s not about skill or weak ... it’s all about balance. There isn’t any way to dodge ... and it’s a huge problem.

All I'm saying is once you reach nightmare, balance is thrown off the boat. And surprise surprise, if you fall below 4k (which is likely) the algorithm will now match you more with nightmare players, there's no going back, and I'm sick of just being a filler spot on a team. And btw f2p players underperform in most of the winning teams, my season top was mostly based on "luck"

The whole grind up to 4K you get paired against nightmare players. It doesn’t matter what your infamy is as much as it matters what your win/lose % is. I started encountering people 4K+ at like 3k infamy. If your win/lose is closer to 50% you will get easier matches (people around or lower than your infamy). If you have been winning a lot more than losing, then guess what? You owe the game some matches. Simple as that. If you play long enough and keep an eye on your win/lose ratio you can get a sense of how MM is trending for you in the MACRO. Open your eyes and wipe them tears folks, it’s not that deep.
