Now I know that this is an absurd suggestion, but keep ya pants on, ya [edited by moderator ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]...
But hear me out, are you tired of mortar spammer? Are you tired of being torp spammed? Are you tired of and somewhat amused by how much of a sitting duck your team mates are when they struggle in close combat because their loadout only consist of only mortars or torps?
Well if there's a Weapon type limiter in game, there wouldn't be any complaints about this (I've read some complaints about this in the forum, so please, keep ya pants on!), and there would be more players who actually know how to aim...

Sorry but this just ruins flexibility.
If you are eating too many torps / mortars then learn the maps, find the choke points, dont get stuck on the walls etc.
I quite like teams that are mortar / torp heavy as by out manoeuvring them you just wasted their weapon slots / cooldown.
i think the more flexibility we have with our loadouts, the more variety we will see, by limiting weapons everyone will just have copy / pastes of each others ships.

Same type weapons are already limited, somewhat, by the extra difficulty in upgrading them.

Same weapon *type* not the same weapon, and because there are different kind of mortars with different rarity, it ain't hard to do that at all

So how would you feel if said player is on your team? And you said it yourself, "flexibility", I wouldn't call all torps or all morts builds are flexible builds. My suggestion only meant to encourage flexibility in ones loadout. One of the loading screen tip even said it itself! Let's put yourself in a situation with your team all consist of all morts in a map with low ceilings like for example WayWardPains or FightHouse, and how about maps with wide open space like DropDeadGorge and Destruct9 and you're with an all torps team... your team-mates is pretty much handicapped... I know my examples are a bit extreme, but RNG happens... Here's another example, let's say you're that kind of player (morts/torps spammer) and you're up against Speeder(s), if you don't know how to handle them, you'll most likely find yourself at the bad end of the stick...

You have missed the point my friend.
Flexibility is that you as a player can carry whatever loadout you want.
If you want all torps, why not? All mortars, nothing is stopping you.
Its true that you may be at a disadvantage in certain maps, but could be an advantage in others.
Also you mentioned RNG happens when talking about picking loadouts and map disadvantage etc, RNG means Random Number Generator, and applies to the item drops from raffle and loot boxes etc.

Ok, I get that advantage and disadvantage part, but really? it's like saying I can climb a ladder but not a tall stool
And what I meant at the RNG part is just a general statement about ramdomness and how computer "compute" what is random

Are you tired of not putting a turbo or upgrading your speed crew members?

At a discount of Ok, we’ll notch up sugar prices to ok level. So that you can slowly ok through mortars and torps.

    Ok
