How can a guild ranked 2141 be matched with 5 guilds that are ranked 35k and lower??! This pairing system is broken. Something isn't right. Recompensation should be given or the players involved banned depending on the cause.

    Quit-worthy pairing.

My guess is that the OP has been deliberately playing in a guild by himself to try and capitalize on smaller, inexperienced, and/or inactive guilds. By tossing those guilds in with a full, active guild; my hunch is that its done on purpose to try and encourage players to join bigger, active guilds themselves. As opposed to sitting in these tiny guilds and exploiting inactive guilds or inexperienced players. Now all of those little guys are fighting for at best, second place.

Tbh I don't have time to arrange / make time commitments for guild events. It's why I quit my last game as commitments got too much. So prefer to do my own thing in such games.
Sure you can argue that they're forcing us to join bigger guilds in which case if that's the direction they're heading, then the smaller guilds will either get consumed or quit.
Also apologies for double posting. Can't find a delete button and feel this thread is a better place for it.

Well, if you really like to do your own thing, you can say on global chat that you are hiring guildmates for a guild with no pressure to compete. I like competition, tbh, but the rewards given out nowadays are too less of an incentive. And let me tell you, plenty of high level players are looking for no-pressure guilds to ply their craft.
And is you are someone who likes to do his own thing, don't expect to win rivalries, mate. They need teamwork. Back in the day, when my guild did 36 a week every week, we won for seven weeks straight, AND had to work together at full capacity, and coordinate over four-five timezones. But rewards were on par. Now they're crap. I usually water down my words, but that's the best I can do.

    Agree about rewards deteriorating.
I do also like to win though lol. Won the last ten alone but certainly wouldn't win if I was matched with 2k infamy duo guild with half decent weapons.
Just don't particularly like how there is 0 chance of winning with a pairing like that. Doesn't sit right with me imo

Well, when the devs made the guild wars feature, they never could've expected someone to handle a guild on his own. If you like playing solo and winning so much, join our guild, we don't impose on people what weapons they should use, and want the guild name to be dreaded on the bay. Just don't expect to win if you are a solo guild member. That's an unrealistic expectation.

Half the quests require you to fleet with a guild mate, so not really feasible to compete solo as you wont finish a board.

The idea is to be stronger than other infamy matched guilds so even without completing fleet quests you'll still come out fighting.
I haven't focused on one ship but multiple which allows this to be doable.
I don't disagree though, it is defeating the purpose of the whole guild thing.

Well, if you complete 6 or so, you will be matched with guilds that have done 12 or so after four-five seasons. This means that it is nobody's fault, since you are using guilds in a way they were not made for. Guilds are for competitive teamplay, bud. You win some, you lose some.

You get a lot more than 42000 tokens for clearing 2 or 3 boards.
If you can only do half of board 1 (fleet limitation) then you will never be able to beat an active guild, even tiny guilds can clear the first board.
