Created a mini account to try the Enforcer boat and I've learned...

...That the slot distribution is crazy! I mean wtf is this?!!

 

Crazy good? Crazy Bad? and what exactly do you mean by "slot distribution?" Just curious, could be an interesting conversation.

Mk 4 is speeder, but mk5+6 is were it shows its true colors(/colours ).

 

The color and slot distribution doesn't make sense to me. Now I understand why a lot of Enforcers are questioning this.

Okay, got it. It's true that the mk5+6 is when Enforcer really becomes a viable ship

 

Its not viable at mk5. 44 on yellow is literally dumb and I lack health and speed making me an easy target. Its only viable at mk6

 

Exclude mk5. Its slow, has low hp and horrible slot distribution.

 

How did @S. Vinciguerra get to +4000 with it then?

 

I love my mk5 enfo.
It's the only mk5 that can do double telsa, with dancing, you don't have to be fast, and I get along just fine without OB.

 

Maybe the fact that a mk2 enforcer has the same amount of red slot points as a mk7 enforcer

I don't know. I think my mk5 is pretty snazzy.

 

Im so close to flipping 4 tab-
This person has 2 maxed rare snipers. That's instantly a crap ton of damage from critical hits. He's also using a T4 epic OB and Turbo, which completely covers the lack of speed an enforcer has. Its mostly his gear and skill which keep him above that mark. Any ship with lower gear could achieve the same infamy and i believe there are many at that infamy as well, I'm just not there yet.

 

It's slower than a defender and i've tried it myself and i was destroyed by torpedoes and my own stun from a broken tesla. I lack damage since I use a close range build which is suicide without an overboost and the skill level needed to use an enforcer compared to a shooter is pretty high and it's aggravating that all a shooter has to do is lead shots on to me easily while i have to strategically use an overboost into it's direction and reversing in order to dodge shots then putting up a shield while aiming and shooting, and am severely punished for any minimal mistake I made.

 

And lastly if you want ANYMORE information I'm #19 in my ace league.
I took a marking of every ship above me. There were 12 shooters 4 of which has lesser gear than me
1 enforcer who had better gear and used a long range more a cannon and (you'd never guess) a sniper
1 defender who had lesser gear than me
1 speeder
and 3 fixers 2 of which i had better gear.

 

He's a good player, was patient and was blessed with matchmaking. Doesn't mean the boat is that great

 

Enforcer is weird, but sometimes it works. With the frost nerf (really, the complete destruction of frost as a viable item) and the overboost nerf, I’m running a double-overboost mk5 with longer-range weapons + mine and it works well as a kind of middle ground between speeder and shooter. If I drop the second overboost for any other yellow item, I’m dead in the first minute of every game. With my loadout and play style, I can often do as much damage as I do with my shooter. With the added bonus of speedy tactical fun.
