v2.0 thoughts and balancing suggestions

I ended up cancelling my VIP subscription. Not because of salt, but simply because there is no point paying for 20% faster training, when my training is constantly being limited by lack of sugar.

When the adverts come back, I’ll probably just stop playing. I’ve already payed enough to buy the game 10 times over. Having to watch adverts again just to get ‘not enough’ sugar, will probably be the last straw for me.

 

I would guess you are captain 20's? I had major sugar issues there where even without VIP I couldn't get enough sugar to keep training.... that goes away in the 30's.

You make a great point though... if you are paying to move faster in the game, you will be disappointed on many levels. Faster training requires more sugar, and more sugar requires a lot games and purchasing pearls on top of a VIP subscription. Want to get items faster by purchasing them? You may quickly find that you are now constrained by sugar (again), gold, item copies, and power cells, neither of which you can directly purchase... you have to rely on the RNG even after you put down cash, which means you have to put down more cash (again). The whole P2P design underwhelming for the cost; money on top of money on top of time, so I see many people here just give in and go FTP since they know it's impossible to even buy your way out of the constraints.
