    Before to even talk about esports, there are a lot of small things to implement.
    Some of them I've already shared with you guys in the original post.
    We need them as soon as possible, but of course at the end of the road, 5v5 competitions like tournaments will be the greatest thing.

    My biggest factor is 5 man fleets, u cant have any team based compatition without the ablility to practice with ur "team" that is big MUST!

    Just let us make a room and invite ppls. Then we can 5 vs 5. Don't need rewards.
    Or make guild war like 'World of tanks'. It will be also nice 5vs5 match game system. And can be E-sports.
    It's easy devs.

    I have a good eSports suggestion.

    Players at any tier will be given two modes: Casual and Competitive. Casual is our current matchmaker, accessible to everyone.

    Competitive is where stuff gets crazy. All your guns. Brought up to legendary tier 5. No battle rewards. Nothing to misuse or to make people NOT play casual. If you wanna be in Nightmare and get shiny swag and overall develop your account, you have to play casual.

    Competitive is accessible to only those players who have reached Nightmare(the best of the best of the be(a)st or the P2Ws) and Ace-1s if we are being generous. This will keep spenders happy.

    Also, in Competitive, you get B.O.S.S. trophies which you can then see in a global ranking. Winners get +24 and losers get -24. Draws as usual. B.O.S.S trophies will become the new "infamy" for those at the top.

    I'm on-board with this, with the exception of:
    This makes that whole idea pretty pointless. Max-level battles aren't new but, to use a Pokemon example, this is like being put in battles with full lvl 100 teams, but they all have to be lvl 90 to compete. What's the point in boosting to Legendary 5 a bunch of people that are already using Epic 5s or Legendary 4s?

    Another problem with this idea is that it doesn't boost your ship to meet the damage level, which suggests Mk 7s. People have reached Nightmare in Mk 5s, so they would be at a disadvantage in that mode.

    Then there's the lack of rewards. Nothing more than a second infamy rating means a lot of people won't even bother queuing for it. What's their motivation? They're already busy trying to top the regular leaderboards. Combine that with only letting Nightmare players queue, and it might be hard to find a match.

    Then the problem becomes the queuing of mk1s with t5 legendaries. It will be fun, but don't you think that, if we add rewards to the system, it'll make everyone only play competitive?

    No, just boost everyone to Mk 7 instead of only boosting weapons. Adding rewards to the system wouldn't make people only play Competitive as long as the rewards are different from Casual. Think about what Casual gives you: access to all maps and ships, significantly increased resource gains, and season rewards. Competitive could give pretty much anything within reason and it wouldn't come close to the rewards seen by actually raising your infamy level. Maybe it could drop a separate currency, or maybe it drops guild tokens, etc.

    There's an idea. How about linking it to the guild system? Allow fleets greater than 2 (for guildmates), make a separate currency drop that allows you to buy guild boosts or other fancy, exclusive guild baubles. No gear, obviously. No gold or sugar rewards, but still reward the same tiny amount of exp so it doesn't feel like a complete waste of time. Along with a separate Competitive rank, it could be "fun"!
    Well, as much fun as you can have when elitist guilds become the norm. But it's worth it!
