    So, I tried to start a new account from scratch... And in less than 90 battles I've found myself surrounded by mk3 and mk4 ships.
    And I'm still captain level 8, so not even mk2. Is this a real picture of infamy 550-650, or just my bad luck?

    Ok

    If u can make it to 1300 infamy with a mk1, then that will be good. I did before the mk 1 ship buff.

    Definitely not :)
    Seen many players claim its much harder to rise in infamy now than it used to be despite the ship buffs.

    That's what I thought. But, I did recently find a legit(captain lvl9 0r lvl10) mk1 that got to 1300 infamy. If you need witnesses, I showed my guild(I'm in @Percy_Jackson_4 , @The Otherguy , and @TheAntiSnipe 's guild) the player's profile, and they all were something like this: :eek:

    Damn thats very impressive, must have been lucky in that matchmaking.
    I always get teamed with suicidal players and floaters.
    Finally got the 10 wins in a row achievement pop last night, took long enough!
