    Railgun is already near the top of weapons used in NM league. If it was buffed, it would be even higher. You could possibly buff it at lower levels or make the training more accessible (since right now it is the most expensive), but a straight buff could push it to OP territory. What if you allowed the projectile to actually penetrate waves? I'm just wondering what kind of buff would help the weapon be more usable without being overpowered.

    Well, it is the weapon of choice for almost any engagement, but I've said it before and will say it again: The sniper cannon is not a gun you feel safe with in a high stakes 1v1. When you KNOW that your blast cannon shot is gonna go OVER the wave to an opponent firing a sniper cannon shot and NOT get extinguished like an excannon would, it is the safest feeling you'll ever feel.
    Hey, just my opinion, man. I know that the sniper cannon rules the meta. But to call the blast cannon "nothing" is an insult of one of the best duelling guns on the bay.

    Balance changes a very delicate subject and must be handled with incredible care. Battle bay is not as popular as other games you know which ones and the options are also fair few to choose our loadout. Nerfing something to the ground may not affect high end players with most of the crew talents but the players stuck in between with captain levels between 30-40.
    Any balance changes should consider these players how it is going to affect these players from ace 1 to ace 3. Majority pool sits here so don't take example on NM league players our how popular weapon is among top 50. Most of them probably are heavy spenders and can build any set in weeks but its not same with all others.
    For example speeder is insanely popular in top league but below that all we see are shooters and now after guild quests defenders have risen up too. So it doesn't matter what top players use what matters is the majority of pool. Balance changes hurt these players spreading unhappiness and costing the players pushing them step closer to quit game.

    Blast cannon is very good. It is my 3rd weapon. Just got it to t3 rare to prepare for a potential sniper nerf. I do enjoy playing with it even without the proper training.

    Edit: Just to add... Explosive Cannon is my favorite weapon. Lvl40 rare doing about 850dmg per shot. I've got an epic crit chance perk and I'm going to swap the other 2 perks for epic crit chance once I get them. There's nothing better than hitting a 1700+ crit + fire shot.

    Yeah buff grenade fire!!! Only thing is that it gets to 88% with max perks and training... :cool:
    And i would not call frost items balanced, i would say that they are trash now
    But otherwise good points tugboat!

    They are balanced at T4E and above levels but not who have rares and low epics its was not even that effective at low end now it has became trash.

    T5 epic grenade pulls 3k damage in single hit with fire and also end game ISAK training boosts burn damage upto +100%....

    Frost is literally useless, I wouldn't be surprised if fire damage gets the ax next. The continue removal of every single dynamic of this game other than shooting each other with sniper.

    I’ll like to get a railgun reduction idea on crit chance of sniper, because when I go against a shooter and it Crits me point blank is like “critical what, that’s a critical pushing the fire button?” When you have the skill to hit a speeder from far far away, it should be critical but not from up close, so I think a cool mechanic could be the sniper having less chance of critting the close the objective is and if it’s a shot out of range or almost, it’s 80% a crit of the base critical chance for example 30% but if it’s point blank it NEVER hits you for more than it’s base damage

    Yes, I think it’s a cool “nerf” or rework of it, but If the % is not visible it’s fine because it could be good to add it in the item description and that’s it, more realistic than a % constantly worrying you, just try to hit every time and you will get rewarded

    Even my rare t5 has 60% and ~880 dmg + fire (when center hit) ~140. So lower levels is pretty ok too since i used it from mk4
