Battle Bay and the RNG (not the guild though...)

Hey guys,
I was wondering how the random number generation works for battle Bay...
Let me explain why I'm asking the question.

I play battle Bay since the general release (March I believe?), since the beginning I almost always had vip on my account, plus I invested for pearls at the beginning (the biggest package one). I have a total of 4905 game played, and actually I only have 2 blue legendary parts, 2 yellow legendary part, 5 red legendary parts and 3 green legendary. Not any legendary item at all for me....

On the other end, one or my guildmate tells me he never took vip, he never put any money in the game, not even a cent... He sometimes skip ad at the end. He has actually a total of 5403 game (so just a Lil bit more game than me) and he already has 3 legendary weapons (2 level 10, 1 level 6) and also 8 blue legendary parts (don't know for the other parts)... He tells me he recycled lots of purple items yet he already has 2 level 40 purple item whereas for me I still don't have 4 weapons of the same time in epic quality....

How is it possible there is such a difference? I don't understand and I'm a bit disappointed. Is he Lieing about not paying or am I just a fucking unlucky batard?

 

Maybe both. VIP doesn't increase your change at better items.
Do you buy every item piece that come to the shop?
Do you play... nvm, you play regularly.
When did he start?

(Global launch was May 5th. I think)

Yes I know that vip doesn't increase chance to get better item.
I don't by every part of epic I see in the shop but most of them. But I'm talking here about legendary parts and these parts can only be acquired by luck, nothing else!
He started roughly at the same time I think, or maybe later than me (I'm almost 38 and he is 34).
If he effectively don't pay, I'm starting to think there is a hidden Stat for luck and mine must be at 1 on a scale from 1 to 100

 

Scrapping Epic give higher chance of legendarys. I think.

Okay. Roughly the same time. Since you're VIP with 20% faster training.

@Nedhudir gets SO MANY Epics, and he's a 100% f2p thats been playing half as long as me. And he has multiple t2 Es(I know him irl)
But to get that many legeys, your friend almost certainly spent some money.

 

Actually you mean parts, not item, right?

 

Tbh there is a VERY high chance that your guildmate is lying to you. The only way it would be possible to have 3 high level tier 1 legendary items if if he/she was in nightmare league for many months.

In nightmare league you get legendary pieces for every season end. That "might" make it possible.

But if they aren't that high up then chances are high that they are lying

 

In nightmare league, you get legendary part for everyone? Cause I just got to 3000+ and I saw all the 10 first at the end of the league get a legendary part.
