mk5 fixer today, got pulse and bolt, need help chosing 3rd item. tape vs box which one should i get

Both are viable options - So is Pulse+Bolt+Bolt

 

there is only one playable option : pulse - box - bolt.
P.S. I don't wanna debating it's with people who play fixer in a low rates ... less than 3500

 

Pulse and double bolt if possible. Noctis reached 4800 infamy as mk5 with that setup and furthermore one of the few boats in nightmare without turbo (i dont even know any other). He used a standard shield and bandage along with his bolts. If you have good cooldown perks you can permanently unstun and defrost ur teammates while healing them from the back

it's a all about items... 3 legendary and 4epic pusle + 5epic bolt ... it's not about skill or something ... he missed 2 bolts ... bad aim ?
in a case if this fixer will be focused he die without any chance ...
I've got 4300 last season with full items = 4 tier rare ... without epic / legendary items...

 

Lol what a nonsense comment. Playing fixer at nightmare isnt easy at all, players nearly always target fixers first. And I'd say there is easier things than hitting me with a bolt in a speeder. But i added that link because you can see his loadout and peak infamy at the end of the video. He for sure hits nearly all bolts, otherwise you won't make it to 4.8k infamy in an mk5. That's the highest mk5 infamy i have seen so far. I have only reached 4548 infamy in an mk5 speeder. So I doubt neither his setup nor his skill is bad.

 

I got my mk5 Fixer into Nightmare with Pulse+double Bolt also. My one Bolt was a lvl 10 epic. That setup is absolutety viable, heck any combination of 1p items would work.

 

How u survive in nightmare with pulse only?.. if u catch just a snipe crit - 2500 ... and ur pulse it’s just 50-60 per sec (it’s epic 4 + -)... how many time u need to recovery?... and I don’t talk about some flame+Ex combo from epic5... what is usual thing in nightmare...

+ for now he is 4000 rate and 40 lvl ... and mk6 , it’s probably the highest rate for him... (on ur video) and defender can be his main ship.
U can compare 2 setups... items lvl, and double games play and take into account same rate... file attached...

 

Yeap, that’s a hell in nightmare)) I’m like a delicious lunch for full epic4 and more... equipped enemy...

 

Hi! I’m fixer and I think that pulse and bolt are absolutely necessary, but only box can heal yourself faster than any other item. For me these are the best options:

-pulse, bolt, box (with overboost and turbo);

-pulse, pulse, bolt* (with overboost and turbo);

-pulse, bolt, bolt (with double shield).

* Mk6 ship

 

His main ship is Fixer and he goes beyond 5k every season -- Dont ask me how, I cannot Imagine playing without a turbo His setup does enable him to hide and lure in the shadows though. Kudos to him for running a unique setup and being succesful with it.

 

Try Tape.
A fixer must survive longer to be effective.
That's my opinion.
