RNG Progression sucks

I've been playing this game for a while now and the progression system is solely based on rng. I don't think its fair that your forced to rely on luck to get better gear. I'm a very skilled player yet others have better gear and win. I can never get the items I want and you may say "use what you get the most of" but I have and they're no fun. Would you be happy if you loved being a shooter/defender but only got yellow and green items?. They have no use for them yet they recieve them all the time. I hate that I have to wait days or maybe even weeks to finally get a duplicate item so i recieve a small shift in my infamy just to repeat rhe whole process again. I want to explore new loadouts and playstyles yet RNG limits me and using low level items risks my infamy.
A proposed fix (without pissing off p2w) could be when to convert commons to uncommon and uncommons to rares. You'll need 5commons of the same item to create an uncommon and 5 uncommons of the same item to get a rare. This way it will atleast make duplicates a bit easier to come buy

 

I have been playing for about a year now, and the most epic duplicates i have is 5 overboosts. I also got enough epics for a t4 mine. I have 3 epic duplicates of some items, and 2 duplicates of most items. I have scrapped some (don’t recommend it to anyone). Getting dupes is really hard and something to make it easier would be appreciated. I would be willing to even pay pearls if i would get certain dupes. Your proposed solution is good but it may be too easy so it’s unlikely to be true imo.

 

When you get an epic from a Chest/box/whatever source but it's a frost launcher and you never use yellow boats

 

Go after rare items.
Reasons
1. Finding copy of a rare item is super easy.
2. They are easy to lvl up.
3. Useful even in nightmare league.
Rng at later stage evens out a lot when u are atleast 4k+ battles in and have been playing this games for 4-5 months.
Don't go after epics as finding a copy for epic is hard and leveling them up is another headache.
Upgrade an epic only when you get atleast 3 copies of it.
And now guild quest are helping a lot in getting epic items too.
Don't scarp any items you will need in future
And scrap any item that you won't use even if it's epic don't hoard.

 

I have had rare items for a while now like tesla shield and bolt cannon sniper and blast cannon but i never recieved another one. I had a sniper for 3 months at T2. For three months i never recieved a duplicated sniper. Being the idiotic teenager i am I scrapped it and swapped to a blast cannon and now the.same thing is happening again... stuck at a T2 blast cannon no dupes

 

Swift torp,grenade,carronade,mine,ETC. ALL Good 1 slot weapons.Keep all of them,and you can use them instead of blast or sniper,Until you find duplicate.Use what game gives you until you find what you need(I m not asking to use std mortar tho).I got my 2nd overboost duplicate after 8k games(RARE)

also i tried fixer and then relised i scrapped all my epic green items the day before
