I'm in the same boat, I was able to keep up with the wallet warriors and their legendaries up until this last update, they nerfed my frost launcher, nerfed my mortars, and are filling the raffle now with uncommon crap.

And for what? The 2.5% of people using frost launcher in nightmare was too much? Mortars are the least used weapons as well. Pure greed and stupidity.

 

Yeah and after that month you have a family waiting for you

Interesting, I didn't think about a matchmaking adjustment. This season I've dropped from 1746 to under 1100, in large part due to longest losing streak I've ever seen at 30+ games (a few wins sprinkled in). In the past I've always been given a win streak afterwards, but no go, I'm just going sideways at the lower end of that range. This puts me precariously close to the seal clubbing punishment.

Frustrating is an understatement particularly if that also implies I can make no progress toward quests that require wins to register progress. Just match after match with my 4 teammates crumbling around me and leaving me 5 on 1... and they always go quick. Something has definitely changed in this game for the worse.

 

I do just get fed up with the randomness of battles. It’s 5:00 AM, thought I’d have a few battles before I get up...

I've dropped 600, 700, 800 on old versions in the past. Losing streak is not a new occurrence. Don't blame it on the latest update. Sheesh

 

Can't tell you how many times I said this exact thing to myself after this nerf update, such a great game that is so terribly managed.

 

I don't think every decision is made by developers alone at least on the economy part. Maybe the management asked them to do that and when boss asks you to do something you have to. Maybe the balance changes and all are on developers end only and economy balancing is suggested by management team. I don't know maybe I am wrong.

 

I actually found my frost launcher is not that bad now, the only problem with the update is the fact that if a teammate hits ur frost, the frost is gone. Also i recommend getting frost damage perks on ur mortars. An epic one does 12 percent more damage. Also the only problem with raffle is the pearls have been divided by 4

 

The thing about launcher is,if you use it as Assisstance it still works great on the other hand if your weapons rely solely on it you are doomed(Especially if you use berta because frost will probably break before it lands on target)

 

yes i use big bertha and a blast cannon to mix it up

 

Exactly so do big torpedoes it depends on frost so you can land it but it is always broken because 4 other players are also playing and they want to kill opponents too.

 

people have to adapt, for example when i get to mk5 i might use two frost launchers or something

 

Yep that where blaster lose its potential,it targets single ship and it cant be used for assistance as effective as launcher.So the one shot break good for launcher since multiple slowed enemies can help teammates also,Blaster suffers tho!!!

yes if u do it right u might freeze 5 unfriends then mortar them, u will still hit one of them who still has frost left on
