Balanced matchmaking ay

Why are you at the bottom of your team if you have better gear than your teammates and how did an mk2 fixer outscore you is my question.

 

That guy with over 2000 INF using an MK2 . I'm actually surprised he survived long enough to heal 3k. If it wasn't for that, it may have been a fairly even match up. At quick glance, the total infamy was definitely in your team's favor.

 

Besides a person using a lower mk boost than I'd imagine they have available, it looks like a pretty balanced match.

 

You are at 1800-1900 I see mark 2 ships at 2800 too and mk3 enforcer is always here and there. Guild quests you see.

 

The matching system is pairing me with players that have more than double my infamy points. It’s no fun getting your butt kicked that bad. The new system discourages spending to get farther. I’m sure many players appreciate that, but I just spent a chunk of $$$ and am now penalized for it. My skill level is reflected by my infamy, not my ship level.

 

Really not fun.

Is that you in a mk7 at 1700?

 

Yes, mk7 due to spending and not skill. Now I’m screwed.

 

I’m sure it is funny for a lot of players, but the developers are shooting themselves in the foot. You can’t penalize players for spending in an app to try to advance.

 

Having serious problem WITH teamates, They couldn't help take down a clearly underpowered team.i m not blaming devs,but somehow matchmaking has become worse after update.I assure underpowered team was never an issue,this is much worse(dropped from 3.4k to 2.6k). Maybe be new system try to adjust or something?,I can wait patiently

Both x and the op, you guys just need to play a little more and your inf will go up and you will be better. Just give it a little practice not sure about that being bad matchmaking lol I guess cause you have mk7 it wouldn’t be fair to match you with people at 1700 inf lol

 

Unfair. My skill level is 1700. I’m going against people that are 3000 to just under 5000. Skill level is measured by infamy. If I was to win a lot at 1700, my infamy would go up. It just naturally happens. I would end up where I should be. I am in a situation where I just get my butt kicked. It isn’t correcting itself because of my ship level. My infamy could go way down into the hundreds and this will still be matching me with players over 3000.

I think the best thing you can do is start a 2nd account, learn the ropes.
And go on YouTube and watch videos on how to play the game. There is a lot to this game so watch everything you can.

 

So I basically have to shelve this account until I’m good enough to play with it. That sucks. The developers need to understand how this system completely discourages spending.
