Should one Shoot brake frost?

Did I forget shooters?

 

How many can you name? Because I looked up nightmare’s top 50 speeders last season
- 7 frost
- 9 flare + explo
- 6 sniper + explo
- and 6 other combos
So that’s 25% of top speeders that use frost torp. And I can only name maybe 2-3 speeders that changed to frosttorp.

 

Firebomb needs a nerf, mine needs a nerf, how about we just nerf everything besides the loadout you use.

 

What about frosted then bolted? Lol

Please don't nerf snipers. I only have a rare t2 at 2400 infamy and it will be a disaster to see it doing less damage than it current 250 with a critical of max 650. I don't have any other weapons to replace it with so it's the end for me. Any suggestions what would replace a sniper for me?

Oh and about frost+torp nerf. Haven't seen any speeders with this setup so far or at least speeders with skills even close to @YSL or any other good frost+torp users so i'm okay for now. If nerf is required devs will do whatever is necessary. It won't stop me from using frost+torp setup (when I get some good BT and ST). I have tried it and it's tough to handle with multiple unfriends but fair is fair. Everything has a weakness. Speeders can't do 1v(more than 1)

If a ship has 5 weapons slots but is (7-7-7-7-7)... No rational person would equip five 1 slots weapon.. The game gives more slots to equip 2 slot weapons.. Comparinng weapons based on slot is just nonsense at higher tiers... doubling sniper damage because it’s a 1 slot item and comparing it to Big torpedo shows how good you are at comparing stuff *claps*

This is a thread about nerfing an item, which is equivalent to buffing all other items.

 

He is absolutely correct, two slot items should do more damage than one slot items. Save your sarcasm, it's your reasoning that's questionable.

 

Where were you hiding when YSL and Bunta were ruling the bay?

He’s a long range shooter.. what do your expect? Carronades? And snipers miss a lot too.. Try it if you didn’t

 

I expect you to acknowledge that he is the very definition of a ‘top player’ and he is using 2 slots for 2 snipers, which could not be replaced with 2 big torps. Which undermines your argument that slot point cost is somehow meaningless.

 

Tesla bolt stun wouldn't wear off when hit originally when the game came out. Then it got first nerf with stun wearing off, then recently second nerf, now you cannot just keep bolting people, a 16 second stun is reduced to 3 seconds if consecutively used. But this is not the case with frost, it doesn't wear off, when you hit by multiple frost launchers effect is increased. It is much more useful then bolt. There are fixers who can remove the stun with their repair bolt. So all the tweaks against bolt is done, next step would be removing it from the game. So remove both stun and frost from the game then. Frost hasn't seen any of such tweaks that's why people started using it.

And it is not only YSL, there are many people using it, and more every day. I have a lvl50 epic frost waiting for me to evolve my torpedos. If it does not get nerf, I will use them as well, and many more players doing the same. We can say welcome to submarine bay then, ridiculous.

 

He’s using 3 other “2 slot” items.. I’m saying your comparison of damage by slot points is kinda irrelevant. I’m not saying Sniper is not overpowered now.. it is but not as badly as the Frost Torpedo Combo.. Maybe it needs a nerf but not as badly as the frost combo
