Bug or bad luck?

Devs, I’ve been playing this game for what feels like an eternity. I have 2 epic red weapons an epic big shield and an epic turbo that I’ve been waiting for a dupe to evolve for over 3 months (esp the weapons and shield, the turbo is newer). I have spent money, combined pieces and obvs there are the guild raffles - but haven’t had a dupe for a single one of them. By the law of averages shouldn’t I have had at least one of them by now?

 

I got my duplicate this morning from the end of the week crate. Probably quite lucky, because I still haven’t had a duplicate for my rare turbo, and I’ve been running that since forever.

 

Thanks man, I have 3 other rares at level 40 so I hear you! Just think that 3+ months is a looooooong time!

 

Don't wait for epics at all, Rares are quite good(OKAY NOT SO GOOD ) Focus on upgrading them.For this game, spending Money will get you nowhere, unless you spend a large amount of it(IT SUCKS) . Keep focusing on upgrading Rares, You can crack ACE - 1.KEEP preserving Epics that you plan to use in future. WITH RARE TURBO T5 AT THE END GAME, I think can get you to CAP speed. PRESERVE epic turbo for now, start using rare.

BTW I M STUCK AT TURBO AND EXPLOSIVE CANON DUPES TOO. Let's see, if Rng god decides to have mercy on us or NO

I attempted to roll with Canon, Sniper, Big Shield, and Turbo on my Shooter as standards, but I was stuck with only T1 rare Canon, T1 rare Big Shield, T3 uncommon Sniper, and and T1 rare Turbo for most of the past 4+ months, no dups in sight. My shooter became slow as a Defender, as under-armored as an Enforcer, and I had to bench my Canon and Sniper as they became under-powered. It was rough... I had rare edition + duplicates of every other item in the game except the ones I equipped on my ship, to the point where I had to go to the forums and ask if that's the reason the RNG was not giving me them, and the consensus was no, I was just unlucky. Everyone in my matches seemed to be rolling with epics of each of those.

Fast forward to today, just in the past 3 weeks my luck broke..finally got a duplicate rare Canon, and it rolled from there... now have a T4 rare Canon, but Sniper is still on the bench... finally got a T3 rare turbo, and T2 epic Big Shield, so I feel like I can finally compete again... but now I'm completely out of rare power cells. I went to the forums and asked if anyone else had this issue. The consensus is no, I am just unlucky. As there is no way to earn rare power cells, I calculate that to evolve what I have to the next levels, whenever I get duplicates, it will take the next 3 months to gain enough power cells at 20/week. It's a play wall... for another 3 months. Just me. No one else. Yay. Feel better?

PS: If you are wondering about epics, no, other than that big shield, I have no duplicate epics to evolve, aside from Caronade which I'd need a ton of training to evolve to make it more than a pea shooter.

 

I’ve scrapped epics: napalm and fire bombs (before guild quests started) flare gun, grenade, caronnade (x3) and kept Mine (tried it but not good with it!) and swift torpedo (evolving it now but need a dupe funnily enough!) seem to have had almost every epic under the sun bar the ones I need

 

Still waiting for 3 epic red weapon dupes and 2 epic blue dupes....been months now.... even guild raffles don’t help....
