Missle launcher range perks

Hi guys, I wanna ask does the range perks really reduce the spread of the missle launcher? Or is it just a placebo effect? I haven't tried it on yet but I saw a forumer said it just extends the range without reducing spread.

 

Nope.but the more closer u hit the enemy.all the projectiles will hit in one place

 

My experience has been spread is still random regardless of range perks but what I have been wondering is if you get less spread by firing while your boat is still rather than moving...?

 

So range perks are useless then? But some players like waveblower can land all of their hits with the range perk.

 

Missiles target well only at medium-close range, and since there is no missile-specific buff, all you can do is add range... while at long range causes missile spread, so value is small. It would be better to have a missile-specific perk.

 

If value is so small why not use 4 of the 1.5% dmg perks for all weps? Or even add an extra 240 hp to your boat?

 

Really i always thougth that since scattered weapon are so focused at close range i thought range perk would increase it

 

Yup, that's really the only other perk choice with the missiles.. range and all weapon damage.

 

I wish the cooldown perks were 4% at epic instead of 2%. 8% extra CD is nothing
