Overboost Perk, Bug?

    Perhaps I’m missing something, but I just attached a perk to my OB and noticed there was no change in the speed effect. When I roll over the speed stat, the pop-up says there is zero bonus from perks, even though I have 3 attached.

    EDIT: also I’m not entirely sure how a 30% crew bonus adds up to .7

    The perks you’re applying are duration perks. Idt there are speed perks for overboost. The .7 part befuddles me too though

    Ahah! So I was missing something... now I feel silly :oops:

    In my defense the discriptions on the perks say “+0.5 to speed effect”, which is what threw me. I guess I overlooked the rather obvious picture of a clock, and clearly labelled header.

    Overboost stats state the amount of speed increase in percentile. If your ship speed is 1.00, a 10% stat means an altered speed of 1.10. A base of .6 means that OB would add .6 of speed to your default value upon activation. The crew bonus is added in afterwards, but is included in the (big text in description) percentile.
