Some people think I use common tesla shield to tank infamy or shit like that

I use it because I'm a scrap-a-holic and when I don't use yellow boats I scrap my yellow items. I have gotten some in the past but I was using defender at the time. Now that I'm planning to use enforcer I'm going to start farming (scrapping a shitload of commons in hopes of rare item pieces) for tesla shields. Give me some time :3 Lol

I use the tesla shield in hopes enemy will wait the whole duration of my tesla shield and not shoot at it because they think their item isn't powerful enough to break it (I have all tesla shield durations selected in dr buzzkill up to level 15). Or to protect our fixer from taking a final blow and being taken out. Or mortar shots sometimes

I have thought of this many times. If you have a choice between hitting a full health ship or a ship with little health BUT a tesla up, most players would go for the full health ship. Just the sight of a tesla shield discourages players from hitting the player.

What if there was tiers to the shield based on hp. A tesla shield with little hp would look more "weak" and have a more transparent texture than a high hp one

 

Do you then have different coloured projectiles for all the weapons so we know which to block with the shield and which to just take splash damage from, because we know it won't hurt much?

 

Not at my infamy lvl here people hit you whether you have a shield up or you are stunned.

I was going to ask why you don’t use the uncommon? but I guess at your level, it wouldn’t be any more effective...

 

Note to you : Most people have weak shield, and of you are using lvl 30+ EC/BC OR Railgun take a chance, 70% chance you might break it. Unless you are above 3.2-3.3k

 

Exactly. Plus was saving uncommon parts for last level on my flare gun to 10. Which I just got

In the end, keep all your items. I learnt my lesson as well. Had to deal with uncommon items for a long time.

 

I'm addicted to scrapping. The chances of getting legendary pieces makes me scrap everything xD

Worked out though, I have been playing around 5 months and I got a F2P legendary without ever buying an epic container (because I spend all my pearls too )

I think it has something to do with OCD lol. Can't even keep a tier 1 epic item without thinking "hmmm, if I scrapped that it might give me a legendary piece"

Lol me too. I got a lvl 12 Rare Tesla Shield since I’m starting to use Enforcer just like you. It’s fun to stop those explosive cannons or firebombs that you see around the 2500+ Range.

i have always noticed that i am always out of uncommon parts. Your screen shots show the same thing. Is this a regular occurence

 

Like today i uplevel my rares and then realise i have no uncommon parts. I even have 50 legendary parts eventhough i will probably never use them
