Teleporting problems

I don't whether it's my device or the app... It happened to both my Pixel phone and my wife's LG G6.

When the game begins (after the countdown), movement of boat ( the left stick) doesn't work at all. Whenever you shoot or move right stick, your screen changes to different locations of the map. It seems I'm teleporting to locations of both sides' spawning pionts. The funny thing is that your boat isn't moving anywhere when you run replay.

The first time I left it on to see what is going to happen after a minute or two. The second time, I closed the app & reran the app. It started in the middle of the battel and the controls started working.

Has this error happen to anyone?

 

You tried freeing up some space in your phones? Sometimes the memory may be too much for battle bay. It’s best if you can offload the all that’ll fix issues like that but dunno.

 

I don't know how it works. I always shutdown all apps before running Battle Bay. The funny thing is that it started working again when I restarted the game app.

 

The same problem happens to me often. This is so annoying because it seems like i’m floating. Please fix this asap!

@ OP - If you're not 100% sure what to do, see if you know someone abit more tech savvy can give you a hand. I find when my device runs sluggish some of the things I do to try and help are:

- offload apps I never use or not often enough to warrant keeping them.
- Clear off / remove non essential pictures, docs or other files that might be filling your physical memory.
- Give your device a good virus scan and clear caches. There are a lot of good, free and safe software that you can download for this to help make sure your phone is cleaned up and free up RAM space.

 

The funny thing is that it only started happening after the update, and I'm guessing it's not my phone. Another thing I've noticed after the updates is that I can no longer run the app by clicking notification. It's the same with other Android device.

 

I don't know whether I should be glad or feel bad to find out I'm not the only one with the issue... I hope it gets resolved soon enough. (Or the devs find out what's causing it and find a work around at the least....)

 

It's good to try and rule out what you can in the first instance so you can be more confident it's not an issue of the device your using. Then you've got a good case to refer back to Rovio with for them to look into on their side.

I've not experienced the previous issue but funnily enough the one I quoted from you, I do experience since the update

 

Yes, this happens to me. Can only slightly aim and fire any of my weapons. Just can't move. Haven't tried leaving and re-entering.
