I went too far? How? Sorry, it's just, I have seen so many topics come by about someone scoring a pentakill... I'm just getting tired of it. I'm also tired of people showing of their "great skill".

Wether people got great skill or bad skill, it doesn't make me think less, or more about people. I only hate it whenever they start to brag about it.

 

If I put Explosive Canon I'll lose in flexibility. Other options I don't see based on what I have in stock.

now that's some really fair suggestion! I understand now that this community doesn't like new threads and doesn't like new players to share their joy. I'll post to the other thread next time.

 

Do you feel like seeing other people posting videos about how their baby could crawl finally and feel happy about it? And you are so annoyed because there are 6 billion people who can crawl already and you're tired of seeing the happiness?
Everyone has to grow and learn and when they achieve something, they'd like to share, regardless of whether you've done it or not. The two pentakill I posted are my virgin pentakill, and it seems that this community are so full of unwelcoming people (definitely single, never-been-parents people) who would immediately fire back at any share of joy at a low level.
Also at a low level, you're almost destined to see one idle player/ one mk2-3 per game (depends on luck, it'd be on mine or the opposite team) and also there are SOOO many MK5s nowadays in this 1000-1400 level, that I always get ganged up by 4-5 MK5 vs me + 4 MK4...

 

Don't worry the whole community isn't gonna bash your passion of the game, nice win and keep battling!

 

Whenever people want to show videos of their baby's crawling for the first time, I'm happy for them, and I'm willing to watch it for them in order to make them even happier. But they'll only share it with you when you know eachoter and have a bond with eachoter.

But this topic isn't about baby's crawling. It's about lifeless ships. I don't even know what kind of person compares baby's with cold and lifeless ships. And on top of that, I don't know you, nor do I have a bond with you. So there you have it, not interested.

And not sure why you needed to insult the entire community. As far as I know, I was the only person that reacted negatively about your post. So if you're going to insult people. Just insult me instead of the community.

And as icing on the cake, if you have got an mk5 ship, then you are not a new player. If people with mk5 are new players, then I would be considered new as well because I too play with mk5.

This forum is not the most welcoming for whatever reason. I didn't receive the warmest welcome myself. A lot of posts are simply spammed with complaining that they are topics that have already been discussed. The old guard really seem to discourage the new guys from posting. Rather than just ignore a post that seems to be a 'repeat', members will chastise others for bringing up a particular topic that they feel has been discussed too much. Or you'll raise an issue, and get hit with sarcastic responses or accusations that you're just salty. The funny thing is that even now, I've made a several recommendations that other users won't acknowledge. But when other long time users reply back with the same recommendations they get a 'like'. Doesn't bother me, I'm not in it for 'likes', but it is an interesting dynamic to observe. The elitist attitude from certain people could really be put in check in support of these boards growing in members. But honestly, I just don't see that happening.

For what its worth, I see nothing wrong with your posts. Don't get discouraged.

 

It’s funny that you say I’m a repeated offender when I just opened my account for 1.5 week and posted twice, of which no GM came in to tell me that I’m offending the rules in both posts.

Also, I don’t see any rule about prohibiting posting threads with sharing of excitement. It’s relevant, it’s not a question that has been asked before, and it’s not offensive. The responses from the posts, however, show me that some members in this forum are so egoistic that they leave no space for new comers. Not only do they, and you, doesn’t know how to ignore a thread that doesn’t excite you anymore, but you also starts judging and accusing the post owner of not posting contents that excite you.

I guess you are one of those annoying audiences that complain about bad TV programmes in a channel yet keep turning the TV only to that channel....
