Invisible enemies!!!

Why are opponents not visible to me at the beginning of the battle? And, why do all of them intermittently disappear the reappear sometimes right in front of me and already hitting me before they are visible? Again! When I watched the replays they were visible for the entire battle! Is this some kind of trick that Rovio plays or am I playing with cheaters? What's the deal here, Rovio?

I'm sure it's not a Rovio trick...The unfriends are never visible right off the bat (typically within 30 sec to 1 min. before I've seen them on the map every game)....though I have seen some issues with unfriends disappearing from time to time...I dunno if it's a combination of lag or coding. But I can't say it's ever been so bad that I got attacked or died without seeing them. It is more common when going around objects..and when they disappear I don't typically see them on radar either.

 

You can't see the players on the enemy team when they are behind objects/out of your teams view. This is normal.
Once one teamate spots the enemy, everyone on that team sees them. This means that if one person on the enemy team spotted you, EVERYONE on the enemy team sees you, thus it would seem that invisible players are hitting you.

 

Ex. I've actually been engaged in battle (seen and hit unfriend) so in your example the unfriend should already be seen by all even on radar...but then disappear while still be pursued at short range.

 

It's more of a rare issue but I have seen it.

 

I have never seen an issue like that as a speeder. (If I understand right you say the enemy disappears while being pursued at a short range)
If this the case than it is either a glitch, or the result of a bad internet connection

 

Yeah, unless the short range was behind an obstacle that cut line of sight, that didn't happen.

You have understood correctly. They can disappear in Destruct 9, in the open while being fired upon! This is a frequently occurring situation and I'm not the only one to which it happens. I do however seem to be the only one that cares enough to ask if this is a glitch.

 

Pardon some of the active forum members We usually like some screenshots/video proof of something we haven't ever seen.

I wanted to post video proof... but the video replay, if you haven't watched one you might want to see what Rovio records versus what you can see in game,.. doesn't even come close to showing what you see. All opponents are shown from start to finish, even when they are behind something. In this way they have the ability to disadvantage either teams or specific players. With no means of visual proof, it is very easy to deny that anything shady is going on in the game. For instance a response might go something like this:. BB doesn't do anything to work against any player, you may want to check with your internet provider as this problem may be due to lag or other types of line quality issues. It is exasperating to not be believed or treated fairly!
