What’s worse than bringing a mk1 to a game with mk5s?

Mk5 at 980 that it objectionable.

 

I’m not sure when you were last at 980, but that’s not exactly uncommon now. I often see 3 or more mk5s in games well below 1k.

 

I was 2 days ago at 980 with mk3.

 

Are you sure you’re not thinking of a different game? This is one of my games from last night, had four mk5 in it (all under 1k).

Maybe I’m just “lucky”.

 

I see mk4 speeders above 2000 very often. These mk5 below 1000 are either dropping on purpose or just made very poor selection of weapons.
I'm not going to say they are poor as I haven't played against them.

 

I am around 1000 and it's pretty common to see mk5. I can win against defender or shooter but those fixers don't die and don't let anyone die. Never won a single match against mk5 fixer.

 

Freeze or stun fixers target them early or kill their support i.e shooters.

 

I don't have burst damage. I launch 2 firebombs and try to attack whatever is at low HP with sniper and swift torp.

 

Never bring a knife to a gunfight, that pretty much summarizes this thread

Once you see on the list of teammates screen that you got a 3 fixer team, you know That you have lost already

 

Double fixer,unstoppable
Triple fixer:Eh,were dead

 

Yet another problem that could be prevented by having 5v5 premades.

 

This match was an absolute mess.

 

I remember that I myself made a topic about Why you shouldn't use a lower lvl ship than your main ship. I also explained Why you shouldn't use common weapons on it as Well...

But all I received were insulting comments

 

I don’t know why people do it, when it’s so easy to upgrade a ship to at least mk3, and uncommons to L10.

I mean, I know that’s not exactly powerful, and certainly wouldn’t cut it in nightmare. But still.., why on Earth would you use a mk1?
