Need WC Moderators?

Most games have world chat moderators, I'm not the only one getting frustrated with chat always being so full that you can recruit.
Also talk that doesn't pertain to the game is out of control as well.
Do you think we need Mods?

 

I agree. It's frustrating at times to get in a chat but honestly, I ignore it unless it's guild or vip chat. I ignore the world chat for the simple reason that you're complaining about.
If you want to recruit, I'd just post in the guild section and if someone finds you there, I'd rather have them because they use the forums and this is a great place of information.

 

If they want to hire mods I want to be in

 

Lol, I'd be interesting to find out if they consider it or if they actually would hire players to do it...would be fun to be apart of it. Good luck with that endeavor.

 

Oh yeah! I think it would be pretty cool and helpful. Some players may not want to pay for VIP therefore yielding VIP invaluable to them, so finding them in world chat seems like the next logical way IMO.
I personally hope they consider something soon!

Yes I think they do I've volunteered multiply time to both staff members and administrators.
We will just have to wait and see what they decide.
My recommendation would be to switch your chat to a forign language.

I agree completely.. The world chat is getting way out if hand... Two of three posts are guys asking if there's any girls online or if any girl wants to chat... What does that even have to do with the game? If they want girls why don't they just go on some other online website... It's annoying and if you say something to them they start spamming the heck out of that chat.. (yeah reeeaal mature there bud)... I wish you could mute players so that they wouldn't appear on your chat list and you can actually see some decent messages.

 

It would be good if they hired mods and there a command like /mute IGN 10mintues

 

Yeah, some games even mute players for up to an hour, I guess it would depend upon what was actually said.
Even volunteered mods would work. I feel they're playing already maybe just payment in gold would work??

 

Not to mention (sorry) long dick emos. And high level racism.
And uncensored bad words in the other languages' server chat.
I mean, this is Rovio's game. Should be safe for kid players!!

But hey, there's still alotto room for improvements.

Hello ROVIO admins? Are you even reading this thread? Players are getting violent in chatting. Where are the mods when you needed them? The servers are getting out of hand.

 

This actually needs to be a thing, I see people talking about inappropriate things around kids in wc all the time. I sometimes have to even go to each one just to find a friendly wc.

 

Sadly, there is no such thing as friendly WC that stayed clean at least for an hour. Cancer spreads everywhere and fast.
