When a bad situation turns out great

So I was in a match on Damage Depot with @Blood Raven (he's a speeder) and 2 other speeders. Someone decided to spam capture, and I spammed negative. They ignored, fucking rebels. Not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing what happened next...

The 3 speeders all grouped up get hit by a tier 4 epic big torpedo for -2000 to -2100 damage each!

Out of panic, I decided to give up my hp, go full head-on against the enemy team and distract the enemies while they captured. Great job to the speeders and Blood Raven for keeping their cool and going for capture with almost no health left

Was also a very quick game

 

And here I am fighting alongside @D3X winning same match over and over. Am I stuck in a time loop?

 

Everyone seems to have dropped 400-500 points after season reset

I gained 400 just before reset, then 150-200 after xD

 

When a bad situation turns out great... This is how a my match started, and I just immediatly I tought this was a lost match already when I saw the positions of my teammates. We were all scattered across the map. Yes, I went in the middle because I wanted to be able step in to the side I was needed without being too late. Not sure if that is a smart decision or not in general.

To my surprise we actually won this seemingly hopeless match. But that was just because an enemy happened to suicide.

 

There are always exceptions.

 

Sweet didnt notice we had a match until now lol. Now i remember It was quick yup, and thanks for making up at the front while we capture
When that speeder near me took the torp i was cursing him (would've targeted him with my bolt and spammed attack if i were a fixer). I got drained half health (~2k yup right) but the one near me was almost nil. But glad we could pull it out

 

I've had this happen. Was incredibly weird

 

Yeah, usually I have a spike in infamy but this time I got lucky

 

Btw I am back to normal in few matches today. The thing was in most of the matches I used lure 2 3 players zipping here and there and dishing out damage on the way and my team would manage to lose 4 vs 3. Then I changed my role worked in support still the same and again and again.

You can add me to that list. I went from 2900 -> 2500 in about a day and am having trouble hanging there. WTF?! Oh well, still having fun waiting on dups. C'mon RNGesus, give me an Epic Grenade and Rare Sniper!

 

Just now had a match with you, was it one of those cases wherein you jam onto battles without knowing?

 

Wow.. no. While it showed me in that game I was put here

 

weird..also cause seen other players unknowingly entering battles. Hope next update fixes this.

 

This was a game on Damage Depot. I didn't have high hopes for this game with two mk3s on our team, against a mk5, with a mk4 fixer, but then it went from bad to worse when I realised one of our shooters was AFK.

At first I wasn't sure what to do, as the team was getting really spread out, and we still had a shooter in the spawn area.

But then it seemed the unfriends had come around the back, and were attacking the floater. Our other shooters started to head back, and I was about to go with them, but then I realised the mk3 defender was already capturing.

I thought "what the hell..." *shrug*, so I hit overboost and went down to join him in the capture zone.

I kept an eye on the radar, but it seemed the unfriends weren't paying attention. By the time our last shooter disappeared off the raider, we were over 80% capture, and the unfriends still hadn't moved much closer.

At 90%, I was so sure a mortar template was gonna open up and interupt us, at any second.

I had my finger hovering over the Tesla Bolt, hoping that if I could stun the first ship I see, it might buy us a few more seconds... but in the end I didn't need it.

Zero damage for me, and not great rewards, but I think I probably made the right choice.
