Nightmare Season Rewards are a joke.

As you all know, there is only one Nightmare league. Current Nightmare Season consists of over 500 Players. Only the top 10 have decent rewards. With the top 5 players with the best rewards with 3 Epic Item Pieces and 3 Legendary Item Pieces.

For 98% of Nightmare league players from RANK 11 and onward to infinity, the reward output of each season is:

Some lump of gold (not really that meaningful).
1 Legendary Item Piece
30 Epic Parts
60 Legendary Parts

Not only does it make Nightmare Infamy completely meaningless, it's meaningless to even stay in Nightmare for the general F2P or even Play to Progress player. Legendary Item Pieces are expensive to collect, expensive to upgrade, and literally take decades to collect on a normal non-monetary progression system. A T1 Legendary is pretty much useless at my level, and getting it to T3 would be the only avenue, but again, that would take something like 15-20 years at the very least with the rate I'm getting Legendaries.

Considering that ACE 1 League has much better rewards than this, Why would anyone with the right mindset want to stay in Nightmare? I've been virtually stuck in Nightmare for almost 3 months now, and it's impeded my progress for getting any Epic Item pieces even when I place higher than 40-50% of nightmare leaguers. Why should I stay in Nightmare?

The fact that ACE I players stuck in ACE I are progressing faster than me is quite imbalanced.

 

Yeah, the rewards are pretty underwhelming. Looking forward to finally getting that legendary gear lube though

Hmm, I do find some epic item pieces from shop more often than while I was in Ace 1 league. But if you're not, then it must be just me then

Anyway, yeah I think one legendary item piece and none epics is quite ridiculous as ace 1 has better rewards there even for top 25 which usually doesn't even get that high on infamy as many nightmares (top 5 maybe gets to 4k+). Parts seems fine for me for none top 50 player (althought I would say 60 epic and 30 legendary parts is better for others than whales).

I'd suggest to simply giving at least one more item piece (epic, not legendary) so it wouldn't mean that much worser rewards on nightmare than on ace leagues.
Gold is good too (500k) as you can buy some more parts with it or item pieces of course.

Honestly, this game has been nothing more than just plain frustrating. There's no progression balance, and it favors only the players that pay for this game at an EXTREME OBSESSIVE level. The amount of money people have spent on this game at the top spectrum is nothing short but staggering, infact, simply laughable because it's enough to solve poverty in some nations. Rovio better be donating to a good cause!

If this game would simply allow it, I would drop to ACE II or ACE I all over again and I would promise I won't use my Overpowered items and my MK6s, because once I'm up in Nightmare, I'm stuck with this situation of not getting a single item in weeks or months. Obviously I can't because Rovio would BAN me for dropping excessively, but what can I do? I can be continually stuck with the items I have an then maybe eventually get pushed down because there's a flood of more P2W Whales that continue to pay Rovio for a better placement than me.

I've been waiting to finally build a T5 Epic, but it's been several months since trying to collect Epic item number 6...

Bottom line is that the Legendary and even Epic scaling of items are LONG overdue for a balance, skill is pretty much not that important in Nightmare as compared to extremely strong weapons (especially weapons with massive AOE or massive damage power).

 

I would take Epics any day of the week. The more you get now, the more you have later. Rares are a dime a dozen now where I am from all the scrapping, but you don't actually want them because they only do a "standard" amount of damage and it's simply not desirable compared to High nightmare players.

Epics are simply very few and far between. I do not get 1 full epic item a week even playing everyday.

 

It's already been stated that the Shop or drop rate of items do not change regardless of what league your in.

Actually....I'm quite happy I stayed in Master 1.
I get tons of blue parts for my Fixer upgrades.
Once I'm maxed on on upgrades, then maybe I'll decide to head into Ace 3.

 

Higher leagues give you higher battle rewards though, it's not all beneficial to stay in master league

I think the main point for me is that there isnt enough variability with the Ace leagues when you also get a leg piece...

 

Right? I'll keep forever trying to get to nightmare league just so I can one day open a golden box, I don't even care what's in it!

 

I think i'll chill in master and ace as long as I can. I don't care about nightmare league or whatever comes after that. This game is all about $$$$ - I'm just gonna play as long this is fun for me then Imma peace out.

I get the attraction to gold items. Intially I was too, but seeing that these items you open just sit indefinitely in the inventory, they are pretty useless. It's likely not valuable even to p2w whales.
