Rant 1.)

I was having a fun day on the bay, only to be fucked by players like B E T H who want to bring players 800 infamy below them to ruin matchmaking with rovio's utterly flawed fleet system

 

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i can rant

 

After spending most of the season getting back to 3k from 2.7k infamy (this happened after trying out speeder (i leveled it to mk5 and tried!), but failing terribly). My highest 3400 and im comfortable at 3200 so I didnt think it would be too difficult to climb back up.
Anyways after finally reaching 3k again, i get this.

It starts off pretty rough, a 3 loss streak.

I get a one 3-star win break with a good team before being thrown into another lose streak. Im trying to gain infamy here, surprise, so i was able to heal massively to make a draw, which is just a long ass battle of me healing and all the shooters missing their shots (can you taste the salt yet?)

Notice the 1 star defeats? Yeah. It was painful.

Next is me denying the game any more losses and being determined to get some wins. The result was some long ass games where i was in full fixer healing mode lol.

This is the draw. usually, in a draw, i average about 30-35k in heals. This did not happen, because no one wanted to stay together. All my team mates had fun running away from me at start, me following, falling back because fixers have low hp, are slow, and have nerfed self heal (thats for another time), and spamming together. Then while the enemy attacked together, and the other fixers pulse was allowed to radiate over them, our team got picked off. The one guy i decided to stay with, was good, because he took out 1 to make it a 2v2. Stalemate after that. Anywhooo it was a journey. I do have to thank my fleet, because at one point the speeder was doing the "stun the fixer, hit him with ec, then hit him again with stun before he can heal himself" game and i spammed help to get my fleet running in to fend off the speeder! Good job.

Anywho then i got strapped into a curse. two losses, two wins, two losses, two wins, two losses, two wins, two losses. Just an hour of games completely negating each other is the most frustrating thing........................

andddd after all that, this is how the night ends. notice that the last game gave me only 21 infamy. screwwww u game.

With battles like this.................................................COME ON WORK TOGETHER YOU GUYS WORK TOGETHERRRRRR

So possible reasons for this
1. teams suck
2. other team is overpowered compared to our sucky team
3. our team (which sucks) is incapable of playing together.
4. There was two games i basically rushed and played haphazardly only to (surprise) die.
Conclusion.
Repair pulse nerf should only be 70% max!!!
Mk5+ fixer needs 3 blue slot points so we can equip big shield.

I have something to rant about too...
Everybody likes it when they have a fixer on the team, but there are some fixer mains that really make me question their motives.
For example, there's the selfish fixer (duct tape edition): I know that they just really want to survive, but c'mon, we were depending on you! Then there's the tunnel vision fixer: that fixer is so concentrated on fixing a single person, that he will literally abandon the team just to heal that teammate when he tries to go Rambo. Funny thing is, that guy who the fixer spoiled so much almost always does a pathetically low amount of damage and contribution to the team. Then there's the barricade fixer: this fixer is oblivious to what his teammates are trying to achieve; which is, damaging the unfriends. This fixer tends to go in front of his teammates, and block almost every one of his teammates' shots. And right when you think you can move aside in order to land a shot... Nope! The fixer creeps from behind and passes through your boat, blocking your shot. Then there's the mine placing maniac fixer: this fixer tends likes to place mines, A LOT. This fixer would literally leave the team in order to place his place brand new legendary mine, however he doesn't know how to place mines, and only has 1 weapon slot. At the end, everyone is most likely dead since the enemy team had a better fixer, and there's the mine maniac, on the other side of the map; with no other weapons to defend himself, an easy target.

Hopefully you all fixer mains don't get offended by this, I'm just listing my bad experiences with terrible fixers. I don't mean to offend any of you, ok?

Yea we all hate dumb fixers. Only duct tape fixer I like is @Sewah because he does it for the troll and makea funny youtube videos :3

Im occassionaly guilty of going in front of others shots. Sometimes i do it purposely to shield them (500hp and under), but i think im gonna stop cuz they were prob trying to die heroically with one last shot lol. Anyways, also end up running in front of other ships if there are players in front and behind me cuz ill be trying to heal tthe ones up front taking dmg. Sometimes i i block torp shots going from place to place if my team mates are spread out. this is especially bad in sub zero haha

 

1. People who separate and then spam SOS the second they get hit.
2. People who grab boxes at full health. I am pretty good at placing them out of the way, and it seems like they purposely go for them!
3. The defender who thinks they are indestructible and doesn't even attempt to avoid a mortar, torp, or napalm
4. The speeder... sighhh... I honestly dislike most speeders. They run out to spot the other team, great, but then they stay there and die in the first 30 seconds.
5. double fixer team where one of the fixers doesn't help heal the other

 

I feel so bad when I accidently block someone's torp. One time the guy got mad and start shooting at me lol

 

I actually think climbing infamy below 3k is incredibly difficult because of the sheer amount of bad players there are. Like I already think a lot of 3k+ players are bad (even nightmare players carried by their pay2win gear), I don't even want to deal with those less experienced. This is even harder when a fixer heavily relies on the team to actually do well. It's like everything is against you lol.

Hope you can climb back up again.

But same, especially when you know torps can hit for big dmg.
Even worse is when you get hit by a torp and are surrounded by low hp team mates lol.

Well there was a reason i fell below 3k in the first place and it wasnt because i was experimenting :/
A lot of waves in infamy are caused because of the 4k infamy reset, just hit harder than i was expecitng lol

 

That's my annoyance, beginning of a match being shot at by some shooter that's behind you. Normally means if it comes to a point where everyone is damaged, spread out and you have to let some one go it's them.

The other one is the shooters that spam help cause they have just had a scuff to their paintwork while there team mate who is currently the focus looks like a block of Swiss cheese.

And similar to the fixer blocking the shooters shots. Spamming help and driving through us as we line a box or bolt up so you have spin your turret another 180 degrees is really helpful.
And why the sudden change of direction as the box is flying through the air and was suppose to land in front of you.
Speeders are just as bad for that, they shout help and always seem to nitro when you line the box shot up to be in front of them so they end up doing a big loop to come back and pick it up.

 

I basically hate bad players of every ship, especially when they are on my side.
Shooters who think that since they have more weapons, they can easily do a 1v3, and beg for help from across the map. Like really?! What did you expect? This is a team game you numbskull!

Speeders who rush in, trying to 1v5, and die within 20 seconds or less. I'm just like wow... They moved fast and died fast too.

Enforcers who either, stay to close to the team and block every shot, or get way too cocky with their Tesla shield and try to 1v4. Like c'mon!!! You don't need to do the enforcer dance in front of us! MOVE! PLEASE!!!

Defenders who charge towards the enemy spawn at the beginning of the match, just to get 1v5'd. Some people just never learn from their mistakes. Tsk tsk tsk...

Fixers who, as I stated before, have priority issues. I'm like at ¼ of my hp with 4 fires, and the fixer leaves me to die, even though I always try to stay close to the fixer. But nope, he's just fixing the paint scratches of his fleeting buddy.

When this happens I usually just close the app and reopen it, it's like alittle reset
