The reason why I cannot go up on infamy points

I don't know what happened to the game lately. But its really hard to get some descent team. I don't mind to loose in a well played match, but this?!...
(there are many others like this in my log)
Note that (in one of the pictures) I am the lowest infamy and lowest ship level.

I know I know... I am just whining around. But is this just me? Am I playing it wrong?

 

Not, you're obviously doing something right if you are facing ships with higher mk than you. You're actually pretty high for an mk4 shooter, you'll reach the limit of your boat eventually.

 

Keep on battling and you can get higher. Improve your play style, gear, and mk level. Ive seen mk4s at 2400+ infamy (albeit rare) so keep at it. However, battles like that where you outperform and still lose are pretty common...keep on outperforming and your gonna win soon enough

I agree with the premise of your posting lately too. I had been playing the last few weeks with a MK3 shooter and was hovering between 800 and 1100 infamy, I was constantly playing against MK4 and Mk5 ships. Usually I was the lowest MK ship on my team. Last weekend I finally saved up for the MK4 shooter. Since switching to MK4, my infamy has gone down to 700-900 infamy range. It is so crazy, now that I am MK4(about 150 battles), I am constantly the top damage dealer on my team and getting stars even in the loses. But I can't make any progress on infamy. Lately it seems every battle, I get matched with:
1. a Floater
2. a Shooter who charges into the enemy and is destroyed immediately
3. When my team has a fixer and the other team doesn't, we still have two guys that decide to freelance off to the opposite side of the map despite me and the fixer shouting "Together".
4. A speeder that dies instantly by running into the other team while scouting

I know this is part of the game, so back the grind. Hopefully I can catch a lucky streak of good teammates.

 

Yeah, Another thing is that I used to enjoy play as fixer. But I stopped, because often I am playing as fixer and team members decide to go to completely different part of map. Which destroys my work as fixer.
I hope some day I can get some good wave of descent team members to go up on league

 

The grind up to the higher leagues is indeed more difficult than it was for me back in the day. (Before the global launch). The Developers ARE aware of this and are always looking into it! So sit tight and know that you will get better players as you continue climbing the infamy ladder.

This is common around the 1000 infamy leagues. Some players think it's a good idea to intentionally go running into the enemy team to go down in infamy and exploit the system. Rest assured knowing that these...losers...lose ALL their rewards from battles until they stop. Or they can be banned.

Um im sorry if i got paired with you cuz i am a speeder and i scout. Only with a fleet mate speeder though. I do know how to take care of myself tho. Im sorry anyways XD
