Upgrade or scrap?

What do you guys think it's better:

For example, I have a rare grenade. What is it better; to upgrade until you can get more than one rare piece after scraping it or to just scrap it at low level?

If you plan on using it in the future always keep. Only way to get it high tier is by saving them

 

that's not what I meant. I mean if it's worth it to upgrade it up to level 10 or 11 to then scrap it and obtain parts from it. What I need to know is how many parts you get if you scrap a lv10-11 rare object. If it's more than one may be worth it, if not no.

 

Oh in the case I'd scrap right away. You will waste lots rare parts

@nosesabe. If you can upgrade to lvl.11 you will get 5 pieces and an the epic power cell. You get most of your parts back also .

 

The screen shot is lvl.18 so it shows more parts of course but at lvl 11 you'll get less parts because you've owed less parts to lvl of course but you will get the five rare power cells one epic and 5 rare pieces. There's a post explaining it and porthos has a Youtube video

 

You will lose A LOT of rare parts, all your uncommon and common parts and your gold. I would only recommend this is you are a whale and needing of epic powercells

 

I look at it like this rare pieces are around 600000 in the shop. So you are getting your gold return in pieces Fe chances at weapons you are looking for . but to each his own lol
