A 2-Week Chat Ban? Really?

I woke this morning to find I've been muted for 2 weeks in chat for "vulgarity and Name Calling". Guilty as charged, and just as guilty as MANY others in VIP chat. I won't even talk about Global, which is a cesspool.

2 weeks? That's ridiculous and excessive. A 3 or 5 day ban sure. I get that. But for an entire season? I'm sorry did a couple of snowflakes get their feelings hurt when I called them out? How many circumvent the swear ban?... Too many to name.

Did I break the rules. Yes. Does the punishment fit the crime? Absolutely not.

You have now motivated me (when I couldn't seem to do it myself) to stop spending on your game. Congratulations... you killed a whale.

Hmm... As much as I don't like this Marauder guy, I do agree that 2 weeks is excessive. Just as he said, 5 days would be more reasonable. He probably learned his lesson now, so just give him the benefit of the doubt that he won't misbehave again. 2 weeks is just too much (assuming this is his very first punishment).

Btw @American Marauder , I got a 7 day forum ban because of you. I think I kinda deserved it for roasting you a bit too much. But I have learned my lesson since then. Btw, sorry for roasting you, no hard feelings ok?

I thought the 7-day ban for you was too harsh. Same with Joey's ban for that photo he did of me with the "ignored" on my forehead. Which i laughed when i saw. It was clever.

They simply don't know how to run a game. Make a great game, sure. Run one? Not even close. And no hard feelings.

 

As I can remember u have already said that some weeks ago(in threads about tesla bolt or smth else). Do u do that every time devs do smth that u don't like(or do not do smth u want)? Such threats are pathetic.

I know people who got ACCOUNT ban for a week for harassment. Marauder got CHAT ban only(that was an exeption because he is a whale I suppose). He should be happy with that!

Yup, we were both stubborn and had to learn the hard way. I did feel like 7 days was a bit too much tough.

Just out of curiosity..do any of you Devs/Admins ever visit global chat? I've been playing since global launch and have never seen any.

 

Occasionally you'll see a dev/admin , i've only seen one dev once since global

 

This is a completely, different circumstance. I've disabled in-app purchases to remind myself that i'm not spending any more money on this game. And I spent a lot of money. That's over.

 

Just curious, how much did you spend?
