How to reach ace league?

What's the mimimum gear lvl you need to reach ace league?

 

2300 need to reach ace level 3...

 

Which type of ship are you playing?

 

I play a mk5 shooter with 4 t3 rare weapons, and one epic t3. Managed to hit 2400 infamy few days back and now I'm in ace 3.

 

I have 2k5 infamy with a fixer using 5 t3 rare items

 

So t3 rare items are the necessary

 

Tier 2 epics and tier 3+ rares. Keep in mind that ace league rewards will look like this
So you might wanna stay in that master 1 a bit longer.

 

T2 epics work fine too. I think the main things like guns/pulse is important to have at a high level. Outside of my rare's I'm also rocking a lv 30 uncommon turbo

 

To my taste, you have too many mortars as a shooter. You should get some weapons that make you more flexible. Have a look at this video.

 

I reached ace with fixer mk4 with all rares II and III. I got up to 2800 infamy with that setup.

 

I tried switching to a different build, apparently mortars and cannons are the only guns I can fire well.

Not to mention those are the weapons the game wants me to play with, I have 2 epic tier 2 mortars that I have duplicates for and a tier 2 rare lrm which isn't that hard to get duplicates of so it's possible for me to get it to tier 5. The onky decent weapons that I have and get is a tier 3 rare cannon for which I have duplicates to take to tier 5 and lvl 30 rare sniper. I have no other decent weapons with duplicates that I'm good with

 

I have enough duplicates to get 2 tier 3 epic mortars and 1 tier 5 rare cannon and I already have a tier 3 rare sniper. I hope I reach ace someday. Idc about the silly season rewards, it's not like I rely on them to get upgrade psrts anyways. At the very best it can save me some 200k gold which I can farm in like an hour.

 

Try using enforcer with those mortars. Combine them with a frost launcher and train all the *Extra Damage to Frozen Duds* talents for your crew. You will see an amazing rise in your damage. Use a OB/TS whatever you want.

Enforcer is slightly more fun to play than a shooter which will die as soon as you are focussed with mortars and the water around you is painted red. With an Enforcer you can actually avoid the rain.

Playing Shooter with that build is kinda weak. It suits an Enforcer more is all I'm saying.

 

I actually have a mk4 enforcer with tier 2 freeze blaster, a rare freeze launcher with a duplicate and an epic freeze launcher.

I'm waiting for mk5 upgrade to run dual launcher and triple mortars, it'll be awesome I'm sure.

 

Made it to 2500 with my mk4 shooter before I got a mk ship. Was using a tier 3 rare sniper a tier 2 rare sniper a tier 2 rare flare gun and a tier 1 rare big torp. For blues I had a tier 2 epic turbo and a tier 2 rare big shield.

My conclusion: Gear only matters to some extant, what really matters is matchmaking not fucking you up, so pray hard

 

Made it to 2700 (highest) with T3 Rare Sniper and T1 leg RG on mk4 speeder/enforcer. mind you that my captain lvl is only at 26. so yeah. the legendary RG compensate my low captain level.

I think the captain lvl is the most important aspect because you gain significant increase in damage from the perks. i feel like i was out damaged by all of the unfriends most of the time. definelty T3 rare is the minimum.

 

made it to 2556 with mk4 speeder with t3 sniper and t3 big torpedo. Requires lot of focus and lucky sniper crits. take out enemy fixer 1st and you are golden. But I think it is lot easier with fixer to reach ace than other ships at mk4 .

 

Yeah that's certainly against me, I'll have to compensate with better skills and gear

 

Are all of you guys like serious?? How did you guys reach almost 3000infamy with tiny gears and Mk4 against tier5guns

 

That thread is year old. In those days you could reach to ace league with mk4 and rares not now.
