Yes you could. There's something called morality. No visible rules doesn't mean anything is OK. Your behaviour negatively affected other players.

Do I agree that it's stupid that the rules aren't visible in game? Yes. But your ban was still justified.

There might be one solution to these kind of cases although I personally agree with ban. Devs could you introduce the last man standing mode so these kind of players who want to try new ship can play there and teams will not suffer?

Rules should be posted in the terms of service as for every game. You have to really go out of your way to find rules outside of game. I'm not sure using a weaker boat would be considered intentionally losing but would certainly be frowned upon. Losing +900 infamy in short time is intentionally losing even if you are terrible.

Oh hey, look, another topic where someone wants to use an incredibly underleveled boat "for fun," then gets properly and justly punished for it and complains. This is so new and original. TC, I agree that it should be clearly posted somewhere that you shouldn't do this, if only because there are apparently people out there who think 'this rule wasn't shoved in my face' is the same as 'this rule doesn't exist, I'll exploit it!'

It seems like the simplest fix for this, and it would save the DEVs a lot of hassle, is that the game would prevent you from using any boat that is 2 MK levels lower than your highest ranked boat. So once you level your shooter to MK5, the game makes you upgrade any of your other boats to MK4 before they can be used. This programming could be more complicated than I make it seem, but I can't see any downside adding this requirement to the game.

That'd be dumb because I've switched to a enforcer quest many times when my enforcer is 2 levels lower than my main boat. I do wait 8 hours to reroll again but still. Some people are very determined to finish their quests. If anything boat upgrades should be made cheaper

Instead of banning they should just have caps, so if you hit 3000 infamy for example anytime you go below 2500 you do not get bonuses until you are above 2500 again

Also I began playing shooter up until mk4, switched to fixer only after upgrading it to mk4 with a solid build and now just switched to speeder in the last week after upgrading that to mk4 and went from 1000 to 1500 infamy.

People who don't play to win frankly suck, you make the game worse for everyone else and are the biggest complaint and why we need guilds with pools of players we can create and play with

I was doing the same for the longest time, then pulled every weapon off the others and no longer get quests for other boats or under leveled weapons (ones I haven't cracked it with and scrapped) I main a fixer and only get quests related to that and my one lonely weapon lol

That only decreases your chances. All my items are on my defender. The game still decides to give me enforcer and fixer quests evn though I have no items on fixer either PLUS no green items!

I don’t think it works this way. I have no item on my fixer (used it a long time ago for like less than 5 games) but I still see fixer quests now. I have items on my defender and speeder but i only get enforcer (my main ship) and fixer quests.

If you guys took the time to read the rules, you would notice the sentence where we state we do not unban players, hence threads like these are a waste of everyones time.

They're not if it leads to you guys finally putting some visible rules in the game. Or is there a reason that you did not?

Because a VAST majority of players never have to read rules, as they are common sense. They are mostly for the people who come onto the forums to whine about why they got banned, and they can clearly read why.

I am not quite sure what "visible rules" are needed. It's not like the game itself allows you to cheat by using extra weapons on your boat, or damage other players with your weapons or block players on your own team. I think most people see that it is completely obvious that by floating/using a completely under-powered boat you are intentionally LOSING battles. This thread reminds me of that woman who sued McDonalds for the coffee being hot when she spilled it on herself, so now McDonalds coffee cups have to say: "Caution: Contents are Hot". So maybe when the APP starts up, in big flashing words there should be a disclaimer that says "Do not intentionally lose battles".
