Nerf Sniper? Why not Blast Cannon?

They both 1 slot items. My sniper barely hits 550 with crit, but a blast cannon hits 500 normally. Plus blast cannon has a crit chance that doubles it, which makes it 4x sniper cannon hit... Dont come with me like "It is harder to aim. Sniper is a guarentee hit". We all know a full blast cannon enforcer or speeder can take out the whole team... Shooters can hit bad with it too... So nerfing sniper anymore wont make it balanced... it makes it MOAR UNBALANCEED

 

Early on, they might not seem too overpowered, but as you get higher up the ladder (3-4K) they do more and more damage since players get the talents, perks for the gun. I feel like I've been crit for over 2000 damage by one, (no fire bonus) and these things also can get up to 45% crit chance, so while it may seem pretty level with the blast atm for you, later on the sniper outshines the blast in most (not all) areas.

 

The blast has a huge damage number but it is countered by the range, projectile speed and chance of crit. With the sniper you can fire long distances and deal decent damage. With blast you have to stay close, you have to lead your shot, and you have to forget about crits. It's the same with the torps. The swift torp is insanely fast for a torp but it's damage is drastically less than the big torp which has a speed which most speeders can actually outrun. The sniper had a high damage rate (for a sniper) and higher crit rate and it's actually OP. Now that the nerf is in place, the sniper is more balanced. And BTW, I think this was a late reaction to the balancing changes IMO

They are balanced.

Sniper is accurate but high damage comes from having crit chance perks and getting lucky.

Blast cannon is accurate and consistently deals high damage, has a low chance to crit for an absurd damage but less range than sniper

These are 2 different items, both do different things why are we trying to make them equal?

 

LoL, people just whine about everything these days. Can we please NERF repair boxes. Fixers picking their own boxes is UNBALANCED.

Ye its so unfair i think fixers at the beggining of the game should chose one player they want to heal and only be able to heal him
Cmon devs if a healer can heal multiple teammates he is too good

Yeah, i don't think fixer should be able to heal AT ALL, it just makes everyone on their team OP, fixer should only be able to heal itself at 1hp every 5 seconds.

 

Ye and the tesla stun should only be able to stun players who already died
