MK5 shooter or MK5 defender and loadouts

Hey guys now I'm at level 29 and I have enough gold to upgrade to MK5 of shooter or defender. So my doubt is which one is better and please mention the loadouts also. Thanks for the help

 

I'd personally go defender if I were you.
I don't have mk5 yet, but I heard that mk5 defender is real powerful due to the fact that it's hard to kill due to the fact that it has lots of red and blue slots.

As for the setup, could you tell me the red items you have?
And for the blue items, you should use a big shield, turbo and 2 bandages.
Or if you don't have two well leveled bandages, you could replace one with a rudder.

Go with defender. Use blast cannon the tier 2 epic sniper and the tier 3 rare big torpedo. You will climb up fast once you practice that combo enough and for blues just use a turbo rest shields/bandages

Is rare cannon good at high levels with defender as everyone uses it so should I prefer it first or the epic sniper which uses lots of stuff?

 

Yea, all cannon type weapons are a very good choice on the defender

You could also use the tier 2 epic sniper, the napalm launcher, and chose between the missiles/big torpedo.
Or you could just go with the setup @Joeyaa gave you.
